SPARKLES THROUGH THE EYES OF A LITTLE MAN

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

This is the email that I received from my grandson last year when he was only 13 months old from their new home town. I need to preface it by saying that Pine Road Park is located on West Point Lake and every year the park is full and 1000's of boats come and gather for a magnificient fire work display over the water. Our nickname for Logan is Little Man. I hope you enjoy.

Sparkles through the eyes of a little man.

As the hot afternoon sun fell down behind the trees I sat on the back of my dads pick up truck waiting to see what all the fuss was about that my mom and dad had talked about all day. When we arrived at the Olive Branch Park I thought to myself this is not anything like Pine Road Park.
The people were parked all over the place and not a police officer was found in the place. My mom wanted to park up at the playground but dad wanted to park over by the lake. When we got out of the truck my dad put me in the back of the truck to play. When day fell to night the
sky started changing colors just over the top of the lake. My mom used all the film that she had on the people shooting fireworks just for play. I watched as my dad filmed the same people to show what a great time we
had but it still is not Pine Road Park. Then there was a great BOOM in the sky. As I turned my head all I could see was the color red. I laughed and smiled as the big BOOM in the sky went off again this time lights squirmed all over the sky. What a beautiful sight to see just my mom, dad
and me. This went on for about 25 minutes and when it was all over. The whole sky was bright and beautiful in color. So know I understand what it means to be a proud American. As the night came to a close all I could think of was,
"life is great BUT hurry up and give me a bottle"

BUT IT STILL IS NOT PiNE ROAD PARK.

As seen through the eyes of a little man.

now I know why you call her daughter-in-love. She thought a lot of you to write that, how very sweet!!! Great thing to do for grandparents, or from baby to parents, via grandparents too.

tiG it wasn't written by that DIL or any DIL. My son wrote that as if he was little man. Not the same son as the other DIL. Ah they are all Daughter-in-loves anyway. Where you been all day???
