I know it is just me any help appreciated

Yesterday noon time I 'parked' my computer
(an old Emac 10.4 with Fire fox 2,0 browser on dial up).

When I returned early evening and woke it up I habitually went
to check for new posts to my favorite threads on Daves Garden.

My Welcome Home page did not load or display as usual with
some overlaying of type at tops of pages making certain features
unuseable. This sometimes happens and I have been told by Admin
that it is either 'my problem' or a problem with the data junction routes
my dial up provider takes to get to DG, but not on DG end even if my
experienced difficulties seemed to coincide with new features or up-
grades on DG. most notably when we went to multi picture postings.

Just last week, I was thinking to myself how quickly and smoothly my
DG participation/experience was going...Frankly, better than ever. even
with long threads with lots of pictures!

I know it is just me, or something I need to do or undo, but since last evening
when I could access my "favorites" and watched threads, things have gone
downhill even though I have dutifully emptied and re emptied my cache,
cookies, and history as Admins threads about our New Look have suggested.

Problem 1
I can no longer access any of the threads (3) on Daves Garden Forum
above "Advanced Search Add" thread, but the ones below that still work

I am open to suggestions of what else I can do short of getting a new computer
or upgrading my browser or operating system (not possible - they are maxed as is).

What browser (and version) are you running, and what operating system?

Coleup, I am sorry you are having problems.I am here not because I am smart enough to help you but to offer my sincere sympathy and give you some moral support and maybe make you smile.

I am so tired of trying to make my page center that I could throw this thing out the window. I have tried both Firefox and IE and nothing works. That link they send you to to clean cache is nothing like mine. I have no idea why since my updates are done automatically.
Firefox is my browser for most of the things I do because I just hate IE on Windows 7. I just had a new computer made and I am still trying to get used to so many things at one time it makes you crazy.

I wish I could help you and I know they are trying their best to make everyone happy, which is a total lost cause. There will always be someone complaining about something that is just how people are. But, that may be some people but I know you and I have a sincere interest in DG and neither of us want our friends and hardwork to just go away. I thought if I sat back and gave up , got some rest and then tried again to do what I was told to do it would work. It did not.

Now I am with you but I have the problem of not being able to center my page. My page is still too far to the right. I have not looked at my journals because I would be happy if I just had the page centered. Then I could go from there. As it is, I can not see at least a full column of things on the right side of my screen unless I scroll everything to the left on each page. I will be watching how you make out because we are both on many of the same threads.

The printing, everything on the forum part is very readable except it is off center. It sounds so simple but it makes you crazy when you are trying to get from one thread to another.
I did go to plant scout and I seem to have all the things working except being off center.
I always was a bit off center wasn't I? Keep your chin up my friend, this too shall pass.
I think I will do some paperwork and maybe when they have all the serious problems of others fixed I will trouble them with mine.

Forgive me for butting in on your thread. I just wanted to talk to you.
Stay cool , Hugs. JB

Also, once I post and it is successfully submitted, I cannot use any of the Return to options
on that page. I only get back by using the back button in my browser.
