I personally like the clean crisp look since my eye surgeries, the less cluttered look is much more appealing to me.
aardvark7, welcome back, and please let us know if we can help you during your "re-orientaton" process. Neither Melody or I hang out on the Texas forum much, but this thread had site-related issues so it's on my watched list.
Sheila, I'm glad you like the less-cluttered look. I do, too although I agree it took a little getting used to after having the page filled most of the time.
1LisaC, do you encounter this problem with other sites on your iPad? (I know some sites have an app, like eBay - which I use when we're traveling. But DG and many other sites I access from our iPad require me to enlarge and then scroll some. I figure it's just the tradeoff of having portability - the iPad's screen is smaller than my laptop, so it's easier to tote around, but since it's not as big (and my eyes aren't as young as they once were), I have to deal with making the words bigger and pictures bigger, which means scrolling.
I was gone for a week and the format of the forums and threads seems to have changed again. I now have a large space at the left showing Facebook, twitter and Pinterest logos. Is this the final product? I have to scroll and resize every screen now. It is almost too much trouble to read the forums now. Is it my laptop or are other people still struggling?
Others are struggling. There is a thread in Dave's Garden about it.
Woops....having just bragged on it, I pulled up this thread and find the right side of post is cut off. + & - are not making a difference now. I still have the white spaces but those don't concern me. Guess I need to go to the thread and find out what to do.
