I'd forgotten balloon flowers - I think I left mine in Arlington, they are so pretty! All of these are.

Joy, I have pink ruellia, will send you some seed.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I have pink ruellia as well (the short one). If you make it to the fall round up, I can bring you a plant, if I can find a small one.

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

Kitt those are so pretty. They are one of my favorites if anyone has extra seeds please think of me. Lol

Newtons3rdlaw, what is the 3rd pic in your first post? It's on the tip of my tongue and driving me nuts.

I need to plant my passion vine. I'll be going out of town in 2 weeks think I'll wait. I'm afraid it won't get watered. It does have cats on it tho.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Will save you seeds absolutely Lisa, that is my mission this time while am home... got the cilantro last nite, still cats on the dying fern leaf dill and the curly leaf parsley, so harvest will slow on those, the monarda next to my tomatoes seems to have kept the leaf footed bugs gone...

Thank you. I really appreciate it. The crazy temps have effected the bugs schedules too. Lol

Here is a couple shots of my Clerodendrum bungei, Mexican Hydrangea. Then my Zexmenia which has been blooming for 2 years straight. 3 is my Rudbeckia from the RU, and last my Plumeria which is still blooming.

is it yellow coreopsis? (newton's 3rd pic first post)

Fulshear, TX(Zone 9b)

Your Mexican Hydrangea is beautiful! Do the Plumeria have a good scent?

Liberty Hill, TX(Zone 8a)

Gypsi- could be? There are 3-4 yellow flowers that I'm always getting confused and I know that is one of them. Lol

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

The Plumeria smell wonderful and they are planted near my front entrance so every time I go in or out, I get to enjoy them. About as strong as brugs and just as nice.

Arlington, TX

Common annual orange coreopsis that spreads all over from seed.

Arlington, TX

Update on the zinnia, turning brown unfortunately. Odd that a plant that spreads by runners is so hard to get started.

Don't give up Cheryl, this heat is tough, keep them moist and in the shade, you never know.

Arlington, TX

Don't know if all the rain will help or hurt them.

Arlington, TX

Its my tny paradise. You guys should know thst not all of my yard looks like that, parts are a mess. I have gotten so many plants and advice from DGers.

Fulshear, TX(Zone 9b)

Your garden is gorgeous!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

This was a pretty sight this morning. It's the corner of the backyard by the compost pile. There are a couple of crepe myrtles hanging over it, a white one from my neighbor's yard and a pink one from our yard. The Cowpen Daisies are volunteers.
