Weather In Your Garden #132
64 now, sprinkling...high of 74 today with off and on showers.
Tomorrow, windy with only a high of 66 and night time low of 43! WTH??
just nuts the up and downs this year
69° still high for this early in the morning. Rain is not here as yet.
Mid 60s to mid 40s next two days
Raining since 2am when T-storm woke up pooch & me...managed to mulch about 1/4 of one garden yesterday.
Raining.
Overcast and 60 out. We had a wild thunder and and lightening storm around 2 am. Our Dogs were not happy, but garden was with the rain. Good day stay inside to house clean as the pines let go their annual pollen bombing last week so everything is covered in yellow dust. Patti
rain started in the middle of night, never got the t-storms here
67° and raining. Much harder than earlier drizzle in the morning
The high was 78, but it was very humid today....and buggy!
UGH the humidity 76%
Cool and sunny very refreshing
Gorgeous change coming through right now!
Rained most of the day, but we ended up working outside most of the day digging and dividing perennials to give to a friend. He was thrilled as we planted them in his new garden for him too. However we finally started the dreaded house cleaning around 4 to get rid of the yellow pollen which is on everything and in every shelf, closet and drawers. Pollen was awful this year. I have to spend all day tomorrow at it. Thankfully it is a yearly clean-a-thon and not more often. But I will get to weed inside instead of out. I will be pitching lots of crap. Nothing is safe.
It is now a foggy 62 with light rain. It is suppose to be lovely tomorrow. Patti
I've was shutting windows behind the better half as she opened them this past weekend to avoid the yellow dust. I will go on strike if I end up cleaning it this year:)
I was off island when it first let go, but DH had left the doors open so dogs could go in and out while he was up working in the veggie bed. Sadly he was oblivious to the pollen situation until he came back into the house hours later and found every surface covered with the it. Then we just had more days of it blowing around. I think the first blast was Pine and next was the scrub oaks. When it rained we had what looked like Agent Orange, only yellow, caked on all the porch furniture and covering even the stone walks with slimy yellow stuff, so I had to hose them all down. Next year I am going to lock up the house and go to Vt for pollen week, if we only could know which week it was going to be. Does a weatherman know such things in advance? I don't need much notice.
It is now 60 with a 100% humidity and the wind is out of the SW at about 15MPH. Patti
59 going to 73.. woke up freezing.. feels good!!
50 now, cloudy and a high of 65 for today.....boy what a difference a week makes!
Sunny & 54.....fresh breeze out there.....not too much pollen in the house this year because the 4 big pines are down....cleaned out the linen closet yesterday, gardening today.....
59° & sunny pretty stiff breeze
This week for us will be in the uppers 70s; a near perfect week I must say. This cool spring has been lame and too dry. Hopefully this year I won't have to worry about all the water relatedly maladies from last year.
Low 70s here, 40s at night...then tropical storm rain? I hope not.
67 and sunny
70° brisk breeze all day so didn't feel that warm. Able to get garden work done.
Hit 66 but the wind made it feel colder. Good day for weeding and digging. :)
A+ day got some planting and weeding done later in the day after having lunch in the park and taking the kids to the playground
perfect day!!
PERFECT day.

Mostly sunny & 75 today.....worked in gardens all day yesterday, will try to do more this afternoon.
68 and sunny
Early evenings have been cool enough to achieve some real garden work. Last two days were ideal daytime weather.
