Happy/Devon A Hadsben Abundance would be great. And one noid.
Chat and Swap thread PART 2 for the RU at Jan23's on May 18
Gita, I sure do remember that visit! Your LOTV is slowly but surely getting established in that corner where I wanted them... That first winter, maybe 1/5 came back (but there were a lot to start with, thanks to you!), and they've been holding their own but not really increasing. This year, I think I'm seeing a few more popping up. They'll always be a great reminder of our friendship!
Not too late at all for zinnias from seed... I often sow them about the same time I plant out tomatoes or peppers... once the soil warms, up they come!
Happy, I'd welcome a noid Japanese anemone or two! I know you'll roll your eyes, but I'm so excited to finally have some shady areas to plant. Hope I can continue to hold the poison ivy at bay! edited to add -- if Nuts-D is out of Capt. K., you can have the one she had for me, because you are way better at hostas! :-)

Behnke Nurseries (http://behnkes.com/website/) currently has gallon size Empress Wu Hostas for $17.99 a piece.
Holly, I'd love one or two pink creeping phlox!
Happy, could I have an anemone, please?
Critterologist/Jill I can give you several Tovara/Persicaria plants to fill in where ever, They do well in shade for me and then you can 'replace them' quite easily with choicer plants as you grow your shady area. Happy will tell you that they reseed all over so caution, but I will tell you they have not been a problem in my yard and are easy to pull up and move. Some pics below. Mine are not the fancier or more well behaved kind like 'Red Dragon' in the last picture.
I have some small Japanese maples if anybody is interested. 2-3 foot maybe.
Holly - I'd love some creeping phlox!!
I'd love having one of your Japanese Maples, if you have extra, Terp. By the way, my son in laws father, Dr. Steel, was once affiliated with UMD, I think.
You got it R^3!!
Oh? Remind me at the swap, I'd love to hear about it!!
Coleup -- Got you covered. Did you want the NOID chrystanthemum in addition to the NOID Anemone (plus of course the Hadspen Abundance).
Critter: Got you down for NOID Anemone -- I have tons -- just plant it soon -- it doesn't like fall planting. And keep the Capt. K -- you can give me a division down the road if so inspired! And as Coleup said, the Tovara with the chevron on it (I forget the name, but can easily find it for you), has been seriously invasive for me -- I can't get rid of it.
Jan23 -- which anemone? Are the NOID ok - I have tons? I also may have some Hadspen Abundance left, though I may be out.
Terp: I'd love a Japanese Maple if you have any left.
Donnerville: Thanks for the info on Hosta Mme. Wu -- I didn't realize it was generally available yet. I'll hunt it down -- I don't often make it to Behnke's any more. A little off my beaten track.
Gita, I would like a yellow Datura please.
RRR, may I have a calendula or 2 of still available?
Happy, both if there is H. Abundance left. If not, just the NOID.
Happy Birthday Catbird!!!
Happy- NP.
Jan23 -- I'll try to get you both. I'm not sure if I have any Abundance left ...
Yes! Happy birthday Catbird!!!!
Coleup, I just noticed you have ostrich ferns listed. Do you have any left?
Oh, and I have several curly spider plant babies.

Today--
---I tore apart a big pot of some kind of mint--as it was jammed to the rims.
As a result--I now have 8--4" pots of Mint to share. Sorry--I do not know what kind it is,,,
I have had it for a while but do not know where i got it....
It is NOT Spearmint (I have that growing in my bed and can pot some up for you),
and it is NOT Apple Mint---I have that too--but this one grows so slowly--I have none to share.
"Bonnies Plants" at HD usually has it--along with every mint imaginable.
There is one called "Sweet Mint"--and it smells heavenly......
Still on sale through tomorrow--5/$10.
Gita
Coleup, thanks for the offer, but maybe Happy will let me dig some from her sometime instead... she's given it to me before, but I think I didin't put it in a sufficiently shady location.
Gita, I wonder if your pot of mint would be 'Hilary's Sweet Lemon', since I've shared bits of that one once or twice. If so, it'll have a citrus scent and leaves that are almost downy/soft rather than lettuce-like, more like the texture of apple mint rather than like the Kentucky Colonel Spearmint or Chocolate Mint.
Critter: I'm happy to share any Persicaria -- I have several kinds - the kind with a chevron is called Lance Corporal ( I finally remembered). Will you be bringing bags of mint, as you sometimes have in the past? I haven't been successful in keeping it going in the past, but this time I'm going to do containers on the patio.
Gita: I'm a significant drive away from a Home Depot, so usually can't take advantage of your recommendations. I go to HD maybe once every 2 months or so, when I've accumulated a long list of hardware needs, and I always check the plants section when I am there....

Happy---
Would you like for me to pick some mints up for you--if they have it? What kind?
I know they have Chocolate Mint. Any other herb or veggie? They have all the basils.
I will be working today--11-5PM. Be glad to shop after I get off. Please answer quickly--
I don't work again until Sunday. The sale is over tonight.
I will check DG on my computer before I leave. Gita
Jill--
Frederick--at this moment--has 36*. They just gave the weather report on radio.
I will smell/taste the mint I potted up. It was a little messy to do that as i was knee deep in dirt.
I did not detect any cotrusy scent when pulling all the mess apart.....
My Pakistani neighbor grows a nice Mint. They all drink Mint tea--good for the stomach.
I have a small pot by now--not enough to share.
It was growing in their lawn and I snitched a few pieces last year. It smells nice.....
Tomorrow--I HAVE TO sort through my Canna roots!!!! So late to pot up some for the Swap--
Hoping they might sprout before the Swap. Will put them in the sun to warm up.
I like to share Cannas when they have started to sprout, rather than giving someone a pot of dirt.
I have 3 kinds--The dark maroon-leaved one (Orangy red blooms)---"Winds" BIG red one--green leaves--
and my neighbor's massively growing/blooming, orange/yellow one--green leaves.
They are all still in boxes on the floor in my shop. Gita
dark one--Orange/yellow one--wind's red one....
No worries, Gita; thanks for asking.
Gita, if I could have one of the dark leaf cannas that would be wonderful.
OK--I will plant it in a pot. Whether it will cone up by the Swap, I don't know.
you will have to take my word for it--IT'S IN THERE! ----------IT'S IN THERE......:O)
Gita
Ha Ha, Holly. It took me a while to figure out if you were asking me not to forget forks and spoons!! Today I remember what it is after reading about other articles that might have been left behind.
Thanks, Gitagal, for putting me down for the aster.
I have added some names of some of the daylilies to my have list, I'd anyone wants to take a look.
Coleup and happy_macomb, I put you both down for the CK hosta. I think that's all I have of that one. Gotta let my clump get bigger.
I do have some dwarf hosta called Feather Boa and Gumdrop, if anyone it's interested.
Wow! $80 for Empress Wu hosta is a lot, even if it is huge. Donnerville, 17.99 for gallon size Empress Wu sounds like a much more adorable. It will get huge eventually.
Karen
Karen,
I'd love a few eyes of the feather boa. But you can put me on the end of the list.
I don't remember who I got columbines from last year.. but I tossed a bunch of seed in my one garden.. have a ton of babies.. anyone want any?.. if I recall correctly they were the tall ones.. don't remember what color.. think they were to seed when I got them
Will do, Terp.
Karen
Karen, feather boa or gumdrop please, if you have enough
Karen, either Feather Boa or Gumdrup hosta for me.
That Feather Boa in particular has very interesting foliage!
Gita, I'd love to try your dark leaf cannas if you have any left
Holly, I had one anemone left so it is yours.
I'm also adding Porteranthus 'Pink Profusion' to my have list. It is part of the plug order I got from North Creek nursery and it sounds so interesting that I'd love to share it with anyone looking for shade plants.
http://www.northcreeknurseries.com/index.cfm/fuseaction/plants.plantDetail/plant_id/471/index.htm
Karen/nuts - if you have any of the mini hosta left, I'd like one each of feather boa and gumdrops.
When I was updating my haves/wants list, I did a re-read of the offerings, and I'd love any of the following if still available:
Flowajen - siberian iris
YankeeCat - thornless blackberry
Karen/nuts - dark purple dwarf iris, white forsythia
Gotcha down for sibs, aspenhill
Karen do you have any daylilies that are a really bright pink?
OOO Aspenhill I have always wanted to try 'Bowmans Root'! Could I have two of the Poteranthus and I'll pass one on to Sallyg. If you still have Phlox divaricata and daffodil 'Thalia', I'd like that, too. Sounds like a group order from North Creek may be in our futures.
FlowAjen What color is your Siberian Iris? Could I have one also? I think Pixie was looking for some, too.
Looks like I'll have a good crop of Colocasia 'Black Stem' and Alocasia 'Caladora' again this year.
Requests please as I'd like to divide them befor real active growth.
Also can take cuttings of Lipstick plant 'Twister' Pictured below...Gita? Chantell? Holly? Aspen? Critter?Buttoneer?Roses?
Jen, you need to narrow down pink. We went tru this on a thread remember? Give us DL girls an idea please.
Coleup, I'd love to try Black Stem!
The Caladora I got from you did beautifully last year. I need to bring it out of storage and pot it up this weekend...
