That's great Deb. If you have two around the same time you may end up with these berries and have many babies!
Tropical Plants And Gardens #129
Hi guys- I'm new to the forum, but feel the pain of those who can't wait to drag everything out of the greenhouse or basement. I'm a SoCal transplant to north Tx.
Hi Paula- how are the raphidophora cuttings doing? The EE you sent are doing well. Anyone in this forum know a source for1) Monstera deliciosa Marmorata or2) Ficus sagittata variegata? I've become obsessed with finding these. Thanks everybody!
Paul

Thanks Jan! Happy Birthday Kay! Hey Paula, can you send a picture of the Philodendron giganteum I sent you last year? I am interested in seeing how big it has become.
Thanks, Drew!
Ok, you slackers! Not a single post yesterday? You're probably all out doing something like maybe . . . gardening??
I was out of town all day yesterday, shopping for orchids in Apopka. We drove 2 hours each way to get to the orchid bargain capital of Florida, and was it ever worth it. Here are some shots from the huge greenhouses we visited. I got lovely little Epidendrums for $3 each, Phaius for $8 and Vandas for $7 (sorry, my Scots heritage dictates I must brag about a bargain). Came home with 17 new orchids, now, where the heck am I going to put them. Last two pics are from my haul.
Elaine, I could adopt some of them - they are lovely!
Just Gorgeous! I can't believe you have hydrangeas blooming already, please tell me that pot was in your GH. What is the plant with the grayish leaves in the 4th picture, last set?
And a HUGE Happy Birthday to Debra today. :-) Hope you get cake, ice cream and PLANTS.
Alice, it's Gulf Coast Lupine - they grow wild all over NW Florida!

Fabulous amaryllis, Kay. And a belated happy birthday to you! Also a very happy birthday to Debra as well.
My amaryllis are just finishing. I missed most of them while I was away, but can see how great they were this year. I have tons of red daylilies now, to continue the show. Callas have a couple more flowers, and Brug. Monster White is in bloom again. First two pics are a couple of my new orchids.

Happy Birthday Deb! Total Sensory overfriggin load!!!
Oh Elaine, you should be getting a package tomorrow, let me know if you don't. Great pictures, Kay!
Oh, goodie! Thanks Paula.
Paula, the purple firespike you sent me (I THINK it was you) bloomed this winter. I just moved it a couple of days ago and hope it survives. If not, I took cuttings, which rooted very quickly.
Good Kay...I love it.....It and the red one!
oh my goodness you guys, the blooms are blowing me away. I could just smell them and even taste them. been a busy week, hope you birthday week was great KayJones. A day off finally.. ;)
There's obviously way too much gardening and not enough computing and posting going on around here!
Pinwheel jasmine smells so good. 2 pics
Huge brom in bloom from a bare-root offset I got at Selby. It's at least 3ft high and wide.
Blazing snapdragons, and pretty purple violas won't last much longer if this heat keeps up!
First of my gloriosa lilies opened today.
Beautiful, Elaine, all I have are a few daffs and outside bloomers, most of the stuff inside you all have already seen.
Can't believe how your weather keeps turning back to winter up there, Deb. Don't worry, heat will be upon you soon enough!
Same in Salt Lake where I was just visiting my kids. We transplanted a whole bunch of stuff and I'm worried it all will die from the cold.
well, I don't think anything will die here or there, I just think it will be a longer wait until it all gets lush and blooming size is all.. many things down south get nipped, but they all come back most of the time. This two day low thing will only be extra cold for a few hours.. I hope. And I have transplanted some pretty small babys out there.. but so far they are holding their own..
