I like Cage too. Wish he would get off the action hero kick.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

if Randy makes me watch ghost rider one more time... ugh

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

He was good in leaving Las Vegas and I really liked Family Man.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Did not see either. Loved him in Moonstruck. Liked National Treasure, though it was an easy role.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Moonstruck was my fav.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Loved Moonstruck and National Treasure
He was good in Con Air, The Rock, I loved Face Off
8MM was a creepy movie

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - lots I have not seen.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

never saw 8MM

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Liked all of them but haven't seen National Treasure. Will have to watch it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Anyone see 9/11 with him?? Have not yet. He plays the Port Authority cop my wife took care of.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

couldn't watch it

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Not yet for me too...

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Wasnt National Treasure on the other night? John Voight and Helen Merin?

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

Jon Voigt played Cage's dad.

Oscars anybody? Seth McFarlane was pretty good. Good music. We haven't seen a single one of the award winning movies yet, but Argo is in our Netflix queue. Life of Pi just aded (I read the book). Amour looks good but surely will be sad..

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Yup his dad.
I didnt watch the Awards.Too much of a politicalshow. When agents and managers wine and dine all the entertainment industries, gifts given etc.How can the winners not know what their chances are ahead. No wonder Robert Denero never goes.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

"Too much of a political show"
That was made crystal clear with the guest of first ady as presenter, by videolink.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I love the sparkel tho.Poor girl who fell. That gown must have weighed 100 pounds.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

she was so stunned it looked like she forgot to lift her gown to go up the stairs.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I think the weight of the huge tiered skirt just pulled her over. She had problems walking the red carpet.Bad luck for who ever designed it.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

she had won all the awards going into last night so not surprised - with that dress she was going to take a header at some point.

thought the first lady announcing the best film was an embarrassment - president and wife should be above this kind of stuff.

lots of surprises in the final winners

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I thought it was odd Michelle's announcement was odd. Kennedy and Clintons kept that part oftheir social lives behind the scenes.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

there is just to much of that stuff from both of them - the election is over

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I voted for him but if there had been a better other candidate it would have been an independant vote.I thinkhe wants to appear closser tothe people.Well celebrities arent real people.

As you can see I am still having curser problems.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I enjoy watching them, try to ignore the "political" stuff. Didn't feel as though the president's wife should be giving an award, thought it was kind of inappropriate when there are so many more important things to focus on. Wonder who's idea it was?

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Prob first time her or her husband addressed Hollywood types without them forking over tens of Thousands of $$$...

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yeah, what was Lawrence expecting with that dress! Glad for her. Was great in Hunger Games.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Designers got carried away

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Have seen more discussion of Anne Hathaway's 'headlights' than anything else!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

O M G she had unfortunate darts in her bodice.

Anne Arundel,, MD(Zone 7b)

She's gorgeous and talented but seems ditzy. How could you not notice when trying the dress???

Kristen Stewart? the Twilight girl? is she always such a burnout?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Her dress was a last minute change when she had chosen a peach colored lace dress that was similar to someone else s,she grabbed the unfortunate satin.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

I wanted to hit that twilight girl upside the head! Disgraceful to say the least...

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

she always looks like that - even in her movies

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Is she wasted in the movies or is that just her look?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

All the new brunette starz look alike to me.
Wasnt she the one who cheat6ed on her boyfriend with her director?

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

Bad impression in eastern countries if our first lady gave Best Picture award to Argo. Makes them think it's all a conspiracy against them.

I'm not a Kristen Stewart fan, but she was on crutches so I expect a lot of opiates were on-board.

Only part of the academy awards I saw that I really liked was Jennifer Lawrence getting her award. It wouldn't matter to me what she wore. she's just so natural.

I agree with William Shatner's sentiments. Where were Tina Fey and Amy Poehler?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Tina was asked if she would consider doing it in '14.
She replied" Tooooo many gowns, changing into gowns is the hardest job,No I wouldnt be interested.Amy Poehler declined comment. They sure were a riot and not one crude potty joke.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

rosemary good point about what the middle east might think - had not thought about that or heard it before.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I saw a nwes cast where they showed the airing in the mid east.Michelle's dress was covered over with some sort of digital layer, she also had a head piece. So the populace didnt see what we were seeing.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

In their broadcast, Singing in Bahrain won best movie.
