Bud on lilac, sedum, I think the dark reticulata is 'Harmony', that's the one that came the wrong color, but I do have Harmony in a different garden too and they look the same

I worked out on east side of the house today. Lots popping up. I raked and weeded while DH hauled away all my piles and did some rose pruning. He spent hours up in the crab apple tree pruning it the other day. Looks great. Patti

Yes we have a jump on most of the rest of you, but come the Vernal Equinox next week we will begin to slow down as the Gulf Stream will keep us much cooler while you all race ahead. I will really start to notice the acceleration soon when I head up to Boston and see trees and shrubs in full bloom when ours are still 2 weeks away. But it is sure nice to have some early color.
