Love Wall-E
Jen I know you've mentioned it before but how old is he?
NE Pets Forum #25
He'll be 5 in October
My kitties will be five in May. Hard to believe.
Seems he should be mellowed out by now.
Oh he's pretty mellow, just an idiot
LOL!!
Sounds and looks like all of our dogs would love to play together in the snow. Too bad they can't use electronic technology to communicate.
I must say, Jen, that my dog is quite the dufus too. A very loveable dufus, though. There are many times that he does something really smart for him, but really ticks me off, but then it changes in something that ends up making me laugh. Prime example...Hooper and I often chase through the house playing. I will often try to hide around a corner and surprise him. One day, when it was really cold outside he was out doing his business. I put him out on a zip line when he goes out. He is SOOOO nosey about the neighbors and he ran out around the shed (there is no fence over there and he can see into their yard). At the time, the fence had a small woodpile on the side he ran on which he previously knocked over in his nosey exhuberance. He often would get "stuck" on the wood, as was the case this day. (Now keep in mind, he is like a bull in a china shop with a lot of things and can yank himself free if something catches his interest that he wants to chase. Other times, I swear he can get "stuck" on a blade of grass. If he thinks he is stuck he will just stand there and look at you then eventually start barking, one bark at a time...come save me mom.) Anyways, it was a cold snowy day and he had been out for some time. I could see his cable stretched out along the far side of the shed and it would wiggle ever so slightly. I was calling and calling his name and his cable would only wiggle a tiny bit. This was the ever so familiar "I am stuck and I can barely move" cable wiggle. I grumpily put on my boots and coat and went trudging out into the snow, calling his name as I went. Just as I was getting ready to round the corner of the shed, he came running and jumped, flying through the air with the BIGGEST grin on his face. SURPRISE, he was saying to me. He was mimicing what I would do to him in the house. I instantly started giggling and laughing at him and he was SOOOO excited, hopping around me in that goofy way they do, with a silly sort of grin on his face. Instantly, he melted my grumpiness away.
Dogs are very smart....one of my airedales used to love hide & seek.....the last one would berate me for hiding on him.....
That's funny!
Another dufus dog alert! When I was going home today at lunch, there was a guy running down the sidewalk with his dog on a leash. Well, the dog decided to run right under his legs right before I got to them. Amazingly, the guy stayed up and you could tell by the way that the dog was acting that he was thinking that was so much fun! Probably a good thing that I couldn't read the guys mind!
I broke a bone in my hand when my Mom's cairn terrier did that to me!
Ouch!
OMG look how big!!
Wow, get the saddle ready!
LOL he is a big boy!
I didn't realize he was that big. And I'm sure he's enjoying all the attention.
Happy birthday!

looks like a happy dog.
Vet bills, as if not high enough already, will jump due to the healthcare law. Thanks!
What! Since when are pets part of the health laws? Suey has to be operated on 4/2 for a fatty tumor.....not looking forward to paying for that.....
Medical device tax hits all areas.
grrrrrr
The rule specifies that although devices labeled and approved exclusively for veterinary use are exempt, devices that are approved for use in both humans and animals will be taxed.
That first photo is a winner! My Suey was with me at the farm today...her cousin Ollie was upstairs confined to a bedroom.....they could have been running & having fun, but she's such a snot with him...tries to be Miss Alpha!
that 1st one is for the photo contest .. yeah fun!!
Thanks! They were funny together. If you notice Harper isn't in any of the pics...she was in the house on the couch saying no way am I'm playing with those two nuts!
