I don't recall any ads on the login page before today.
Is this new?

I don't know if it's new or not because I always stay logged in, but until you log in the system won't know you're a subscriber so your preferences about not seeing ads wouldn't be applied yet.

Until you're logged in, your preferences can't be implemented.

As an aside, we had to do a bit of tweaking today and your ad settings may have been re-set (mine were.) As subscribers, you can go into your profile and change your settings to see or not see any/all ads.
