Thanks Ginger! Had a light dusting of snow in late October and another (even lighter) in late November, but none since. Just rain, rain, rain, rain and more rain. And then some rain. With more rain forecast for tomorrow, and the next few days. It'll very likely turn out to be the wettest year on record, failing that, then the 2nd wettest. The whole country is one big swimming pool now. No-one's going for a workout in it though (except for the unfortunate folk who can't avoid it with the floods) as it's only around 7°C. Yeah, no doubt you can tell, the whole country, me included, is getting a bit p****d off with it all!

Well Resin,
We have just copped the biggest Flooding in history.
At least as long as records have been kept.
This used to be my drive way.
ginger- oh my !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow, gorgeous.
So you have power back on? since you are posting. Is your house flooded, or above that grade (she asked hopefully)?
Thanks Sally for your concern.
My Studio is 5 Meters above the highest water level ever achieved.
And our House is a further 10 Meters above that.
Power has gone off about 3 times in 3 days.
But it comes back on after 30 minutes.
There are more than 250,000 Houses around Brisvegas and the Cold Goast without power.
So I consider myself quite lucky.
yee gads! Huge sigh of relief that you planned your buildings up higher. I hope you and neighbors are well supplied!
I have run out of Milk. (for Coffee)
I'm thinking of ringing 911 and asking for 3 lits. of Milk.
I wonder if they deliver ?
I was wondering how the flooding affected you, Ginger. It's horrendous. Is Queensland rethinking its state logo of "Queensland - beautiful one day, perfect the next?"
Yes Margaret,
Perfect one day.
Wet! very wet the next.
You know that's three years in a row ?
But you know the Birds just keep coming.
Whistlers have begun touching down on my place.
What a great picture Resin.
Is your floodind over yet.
We see a lot of it on our Australian news.
I understand the fear is Yall are floating closer to France.
How is your French ?
You won't need that Tunnel soon.
To Bad about the flooding but WOW what beautiful countryside.

Hi Ginger,
Yeah, the flooding was over, but now it's started again with all last week's snow melting very suddenly.
Getting closer to France? Not physically. Some politicians, . . . well, I'd better not say, it'd contravene DG rules on politics!
