Just beautiful blooms Debra. Love the shrimp plant, how I miss mine. Yours is a beauty.
Love your first bloom, the gorgeous purple star and the way its pictured in pic #2,
I like the 2nd MG pictured too, just partial to that 1st bloom with a star.
Nice Thanksgiving cactus .

I think A said 2.00. Thats how much I sent

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Thanks Jackie, I will get it to her right away.. the shrimp plant is throwing seeds, I will save you some. So are the inside glories. The thanksgiving cactus was from a friend, if you want a piece can send it to you with some other things I am sending you..Stictocaria ais going to be blooming in just a month, I am so anxious.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra, I would love some Shrimp sds. I wouldn't mind rooting a piece of the Thanksgiving cactus.
The yellow and orange ones are my favorites. :-)

Gautier, MS

Beautiful bloom Jackie.

Beautiful blooms too Debra, I favor your purple star too.

Finally got uploading to work without taking forever like yesterday when I tried. So here's a pic from today and 3 from yesterday. The blooms I'm getting are really smaller than they appear.

Absolutely lovely blooms Helena. Love all of those, tiny or not. :-)

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Debra your basement must be such a haven on cold winter days! Love the purple starred bloom!
Lovely blooms Helena, I presume they are in your GH?

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Helena, your blooms are very colorful, size does not matter when morning glories are concerned. I love them.
Basement is usually a dark ugly place. In Winter, Joanna and I are always down there all night long, her playing with her turtles and fish, me trimming, cutting, watering, and seed starting . It sure makes a usually boring winter much more enjoyable. I remember my first winter basement. A small area on the south end. Little did I know I would have a huge indoor greenhouse.. LOL
I have three huge round seed balls on this swan plant.. It won't stop flowering, i think it is confused.
I hope queen emma decides to bloom this winter
sticto, calico pipe vine, catsclaw vine and company here.. soon the ceiling wil be covered..
passions vines are to the left they are going everywhere, they would be outside, but these are tropicals that I have been growing since babies given to me by tropicman.
last pic is the setosa, the chalice vine and more..

Enjoyed all your pictures Debra. Thanks for sharing. Very interesting seed pods
on the swan plant.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

The swan plant is a milkweed Jackie, I think they might be a prennial in your climate.. check and see.. could send you some of those too.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra, I know those are hardy here. Is it the same as the lovely orange blooming milk weed. I know they come in yellow too and even pink now. A person could just spring plant them where they wanted it to come up???
If you think of it, you could send me a few. I have missed my orange one I had at my old house. I didn't
attempt to bring a start of it when we moved here. It was just too much moving at our age 10 yrs ago. :-)

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Debra I would love a few of the swan seeds if you have extra!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

gotcha, Ronnie. Jackie, I have several orange milkweeds and all kinds of milkweed seed pods here, I will get ya started on those things. I have no clue how long those seed balls will stay on that plant.. It is really tall and still producing flowers..If anything like my other milkweeds, it will be really fun to watch those seed balls pop open.

Gautier, MS

Debra, love how you can grow your plants in basement garden! You really do a good job.

Only had one bloom today of Jaimie Lyn, here's also progress on y seedlings.

Debra, looking forward to the milkweed sds. I remembr how the butterflies would be all over the
blooms. Seems like it might have been the monarch b flies that favored those blooms.

Helena, love the way Jamie lynn has the blue cast to her blooms. She is a lovely MG.

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Thank you Debra, I'll have some nice seeds for you too.

Jaimie Lynn is always a pleasure to see.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie and Ronnie.

Had another small bloom and orange abutilon & salvia van houttei.

I love JL, and your lil purple is prety too, Helena. I wish I could grow abuitlon.. mine never looked as good as yours, so I gave those things up LOL

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Love your blooms Helena. I like the lighter purple spots on each petal of your MG.
Seeing your pretty Abutilon makes me want to start some of my sds. I used to grow these from
seeds all the time.
Beautiful color on your Salvia.

I had a couple of blooms today and yesterday

Thanks Debra and Jackie. I have been trying to replace a few of the plants I used to have, abutilon is one of those. Also replacing a lot of salvias.

Ronnie salvia Van Houttei doesn't make seeds, propagating has to be by cuttings. There is one I think, called Dancing Flames that does but I'm not absolutely sure.

Love your beautiful blooms Jackie.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

me too, Jackie. It is always nice to see a cheerful bloom smiling at you.
I had four this am smiling at me, but not my camera/ one of them that purple with the star i showed earlier. the blue with stripe and white tips. and a large pink with white edge and a small pink purp. All of these have seed pods, I was trying to see what could be flying around down there, saw a small tiny moth and a couple skeeters! sheese! I have sticky tape everywhere, so much, that i have to watch my head when i am snooping around LOL

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Thanks Helena and Debra.

Debra, at least the moth is helping you with the pollinating. :-)

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Yes, I am glad too! I saw another one of the huge purple with star blooms this am, and it was facing the window so couldn't get a good shot of it. *sigh*

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Debra, I don't think I've ever seen any bloom similiar to the large purple star, really striking.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We are still trying to recuperate here
