The weather this year has just being so nice.
More bearded irises re-blooming and more roses and mums.

Finally my broccoli and cauliflowers are starting to form heads.
Normally I eat my first broccoli of the season always in November ... but not this year .... I think it is just too hot.
Huge kohlrabi and fennel ready to harvest.
Peas ready real soon.

Actually I was gone for more than a month and a half and my mother-in-law was supposed to water the peas only, since everything else is on an automatic soaker hose schedule ..
She didn't water ... off course ... a few plants survived only ... but I have peas ... so I will try again next year

you are talking about the "leaf" fennel. This is the bulb kind fennel and I wish it will grow every where because it is so good.

Nearly a month later, the inflorescence has decided to actually put out flowers. My Aggie bluebonnet. It also bloomed earlier this spring.
