November Blooms!

My late bloomers have started blooming. What's blooming in your garden?

Copper Canyon Daisy

Mexican Mint Marigold--this was a volunteer from about 3 years ago! LOL

Eastern Mistflower--this one blooms in the fall.

Thanks Josephine, they are some of my favorites. I bought a lime green duranta and one of the new orange Esperanza plants this spring and I can't wait tiLl next year when they will add to the show. I am already thrilled the the foliage on the duranta, it is a lovely counterpoint to my dark green asparagus .
My green zinnias continue to rock along, although they don't want to stand up but prefer to sprawl. And the purple porter weed is covered with butterflies, another outstanding plant that has never stopped blooming since I planted it this spring.

I love this time of the year in Dallas. It feels like it is spring time again ... but with bigger plants and bigger flowers.

Wow, so many gorgeous flowers. The Clematis are my favorite. Are they hard to grow there? And wow, Daffodils blloming in November? I thought mine bloomed early. Thanks for the pictures. Made my day.

Clematis grow really good in my area.
Yes Daffodils in November. It is a variety called Grand Soleil (or something like that). I had them for years. They bloom November and December and I use them as cut flowers.
Their fragrance in the house is amazing.

I also forgot to take pictures of my Turks Cup. They are making seed pods and I love to eat them.
You can see the red pods in this picture below.

My Morning Glory is changing color with the cooler temperature. The flower is not more a blue purple and it has also fucsia pink stripes

In the last two pictures you can see the seed pods exploded and they are seeds hanging ...
Every year I let my Milkweed to reseed itself. In my garden is not invasive because the butterfly find the plants to feed their caterpillars.
It is a win win.

Steph.... Your Copper Canyon Daisies are georgeous...they never did that well for me.

:) They have really sprawled, too! I think they're about 5' wide.

Those can get really tall, I like their scent too.

My confederate rose(double variety) has been blooming since late October and going strong now.

Very lovely indeed.

I think the first rose is called Chocolate ... or Cocoa something.
It has been a fantastic rose in my garden.

Actually sometimes is a very dark red
