I could have sworn there used to be a bonsai forum on DG but I can't find it now. Am I just imagining that or has it been removed for some reason?

There was one, but we retired it due to lack of activity several months ago. The good news is a forum can always be brought back out if there's sufficient demand...but that rarely happens.

The best way is to hop on an existing forum with threads on this topic. If/when those threads start to dominate a general forum, we can look at opening or in this case reopening a forum dedicated to that topic.
