Once again, Sybil has graciously offered to host the fall RU at her home.
Date--- October 6, 2012 ****This is a SATURDAY!!*****
Place-- BURLESON, TX. (South of Fort Worth and east of I-35W)
Since it is a private residence we will not be posting her exact address here, we will dmail it to those planning to attend.
Time--- Noon or later
Eat at 1:00-1:30pm (Electricity is available, but not for cooking only warming)
There will be no door charge, and our hostess will furnish coffee, tea, cups, plates, napkins and plastic ware.
Bring your folding tables, chairs and wagons/carts if you have them. Sybil does have a lot of tables for eating but you will need a table for your plants and chairs for extra seating.
Plenty of space for parking is available. We will register & eat under the large covered pavilion adjacent to Sybil's house. You will pull up in the drive, unload, then park in the pasture. (Watch for land mines! LOL) Thank you Frank for being our parking attendant this past spring!
Don't forget to bring door prizes (one per guest) for a drawing. Something small, low cost or used in good condition, and suitable for either a man or woman. Items can be homemade, plants, gardening books, birdhouses, tools, coffee grounds, yard art, manure....use your imagination!
Please be sure to let us know you'll be attending (& if you'll be bringing guests) on the ATTENDANCE thread: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1277951/
As people post their lists, I'll place a link here in this post for easy reference.
Let's have fun and let the trading begin!!
**PLEASE REMEMBER TO LABEL YOUR PLANTS WITH WHAT THEY ARE, WHO THEY GO TO, AND WHO THEY ARE FROM!**
Stephanie

Dennis, is the TX Rock Rose the pink one? If so, I have plenty and I'll put your name on one.
That's the right kind. Thanks, Stephanie!
Here's my place holder.
I'm not sure that I'm going to bring, or want anything (we're doing major work on the house right now and it's kind of taking all our attention) but I definitely want to come and visit with all of you.
Kate
You got it, Dennis!
Dennis, I will have an Illinois bundleflower for you.
Dennis, I have several Mexican Milkweed A. curassavica that I rooted from cuttings earlier this year and can give you three of those.
Stephanie....I can supply you with a couple 'blue crown' passiflora.

Thanks Stephanie, Josephine, and Sheila. My wish list is almost complete, and I haven't given anything away yet!
Thank you, Sheila! I'll take a couple. The one you gave me in the spring is still alive, barely, but it's not done anything. Not sure what's up with it. Still want to overtake the honeysuckle on my backyard fence.
Haves
red lantana
red turk's cap
Wants
purple dutara
Stephanie....It is slow starting but it will take off next year I'm sure. But you need more than one to cover your neighbor's HS!
Hello Everybody, I have a bed edged in Bearded Iris, mainly purple, with one or two copper color.
Sorry, don't have them marked, so don't which ones they are.
I want to take them out and replace them with Four-nerve daisy, but I don't want to throw them away and be wasted, they are beautiful.
Are there any takers?
Josephine.
Ok newbies...don't be afraid to ask.
Nobody likes to bring their own stuff home!
Newbies, don't be so concerned about making a trade if you have nothing to trade. We're happy to see plants go to good homes! :) Ask away!
Yes, I would like some iris..doesn't matter what color
Great!! how many would you like?
I have lots of Indian Chief Iris bulbs, maybe some coleus cuttings, I might have some purple datura seeds but I have to find them,
As far as wants, I will be grateful for anything.
I will also have some tropicals, and I will be saving coffee grounds as well.
Tina, I will try to find the Datura seeds but I did not plant them this year, new dog, and grandchildren that are fasinated with my plants. I also have American Elm tree seeds, lots of them.

Mine are already dug so someone needs to take them!

Stephanie, I would like your purple coneflowers if they're not spoken for.
Tina, I will have purple datura seeds/pods. Will that work? I don't really think anything is sprouting around them now. s
ilovejesus, I have hibiscus for you. Mine is huge, and I had already decided to thin it before next spring. It's Rose Mallow (huge white flowers with red/dark pink centers). Is that ok?
ilovejesus, I have a NOID plumeria for you.
Sybil, got you down for the coneflowers!
Anyone have anything that would do well in a medium-sized pot in mostly shade? I'm looking something (or a combination of plants) that won't get more than 3' x 3' or so.
I don't got nuttin' but I would like a jade plant or other indoor plants and some pink and yellow lantana, please.
Carrie, I will bring a pot of walking iris for you. It will do fine for an indoor plant and really needs to be repotted too.
Only two weeks left... someone PLEASE ask me for something! :)
Please, what is NOID? I googled it, but got all kinds of weird game stuff.
