water is like 8 pounds a gallon
"Chelsea Clinton 32 years old - I have aged typing this. "
I aged reading it! holy cow
Clearly that principal lacked control and someone should have stepped in much earlier.
Things that make you go "hmmmm" or Say what???!!!! Pt 4
Overhear a family in Target in the next aisle asking little boy if he likes his new hair cut, Mother " oh it looks cute like that" I come around the corner to the girl wiping her hands and putting back a jar of hair gel in the back of row, nice! Really couldn't wait till you got home to spike the kids hair...freaking pigs!
AAAGGHHH!
Post on fb from my friend
A car pulled into the spot next to me at walmart. I looked over to find both individuals completly naked. I imediately thought they had been running from bad guys and lost their clothes in the scuffle, or had to swim through the swamp and remove their clothes do to leeches. All reasonable conclusions, far more reasonable than this being the all time low of what you acceptably wear at Walmart.
Fits in with those Walmart people emails.
Walmartians strike again!
Jen - they probably had speedos on - perfectly acceptable at Walmart! Sometimes I visit www.peopleofwalmart.com just to remember that I do have, at least some, fashion sense! LOL!
That was awful about using the hair gel! Friend of mine was at a restaurant in Waterbury, & next car had naked people.....having fun in the middle of the afternoon....she called the police....
oh carp.
We had a GE fridge that was pretty young (less than two years?) and the defroster went bad, major problem. We ended up buying a new fridge and getting the warranty. I've never beleived in those appliance warranties but for new fridges I just fear that they have gotten too complex and squeezing so much efficiency out of them ...kind of backed up by 'cathy' in the appliance forum.
that stinks
To amend- I think I got five years out of the GE but had a repair during that. We sucked up the first repair but had to question the second. Meanwhile the Kitchenaid that went to the basement is going strong after 20 plus.
They make throw away appliances now, too bad they're not cheaper
I had to Say WHAT when I saw all the fancy french door models of fridge, rather, their price tags!! Won't even fit in my kitchen space.
Wait till you get a new car with the tire sensors. Something like a computer module. A neighbor had a friend that had one go bad. GM wanted $130 for the sensor & plus labor (here its 80 ph) as you have to have it programed!
Friend got an after market sensor 57 bucks, charged 20 to put it in. 77 bucks, saved 53 bucks. Still costed 157 bucks for a computer to contoll your car.
I dont go for that at all, its just so wrong.
We have a questonable air bag light- Is it the bag or just the sensor? It seems you can only guess and check, at car owners cost of course.
There comes a point where the benefits don't make up for the cost.
Last night news was talking about new emissions standards. I can't 'save' a couple hundred a year on gas when I can't BUY the new $20 000 car.
Appreciate that- have to get back to you, not on the top of my head.
My niece bought an expensive Samsung fridge....had all kinds of trouble with it....my son & DIL bought a GE....mold began forming, repairman couldn't solve problem, GE finally gave them a new one, but they had to pay something towards it.....I have a Whirlpool of 2 years....hate it! The tire monitor went on my Tahoe.....every time I turn the key the computer says "Service Tire monitor"...such a pain!
That does it - I'm keeping the 2002 Saturn for another 167,000 miles! I am also keeping the vintage Whirlpool washer until I can't find parts on Ebay any more. I swear - I am just getting old and grumpy!
Me, too!
Ya the washer we had at our other house was at least 30 years old and only the hose needed to be changed, that was a whirlpool too
Unless the driver is busy texting!
True, Marilyn! Google has had driverless cars for years, testing them over 300,000 miles and they say that the only accident was when a human driver was in control! Nevada already allows driverless cars and if the Governor of California signs the bill, California will have driverless cars on the road, too. The combination of a breath alcohol testing ignition and the driverless software could prevent drunk drivers and the death and destruction they cause. Now we just have to figure out how to deal with the texting and cell phone talking drivers!
" breath alcohol testing ignition and the driverless software"
Safe- because now that adds $2000 to the low-mileage car I already cannot afford.
I saw an article about electric-motor assisted bicycles- hmm....
The visual of Jerry Brown and a driver-less car is classic and a perfect metaphor for CA.
Hey - I forgot about the legalizing marijuana issue - make the breathalyzer test for marijuana too. (They will need that in California!)
Then the gov would be out.
Not necessarily - it IS California. :)
Good point.
I think Ethel and Lucy did that on one episode of The Lucille Ball Show.
I've used that, it works!
Cucumbers are supposed to work for that....
Didn't want to waste a good cuc LOL
Went bowling yesterday saw a whole family put on the rental shoes with no socks EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Gross!!
Double EEWWWWW
And maybe they used Preparation H on their feet!
Hopefully they sanitize the shoes...but still...you would think the manager would say something....
