The "Today's Articles" section of my home screen is blank. The heading is there but no articles, and the box (where the article names and photos would have been is only about 1/2in high. Is this a known problem, or do I maybe need to reboot my computer? Everything else looks normal, both on my home page and in forums.
Today's Articles Missing
I do hope your problem has corrected itself. It would appear that was not all that was missing. Must be vacation time at DG... Kristi
p.s. I would say mine is there but it might have been corrected in the interim.
Same problem for me too. The voting booth has been moved up into the articles spot but I still have the little headline that says Today's Articles.

Thanks to both of you for letting me know it's not just my computer.
Since I 1st noticed the change to my homepage this AM, I've rebooted my computer, which normally clears cache related problems. Also, Firefox downloaded a new version or update. I'm currently using 13.0.1. Looks like I still have another Firefox update to install. For now, I still have the problem.
Below I've attached a screen shot showing the right side of my screen where you can see the title "Today's Articles" but no actual articles.
Now my Firefox is 14.0.1 and is up to date. The problem with the Today's Articles persists.

No I didn't mean it that way. Mine is AWOL too.
When I posted that, I hadn't looked at my home page for it.
I was on this forum looking for an answer to the thread I had posted.
That was an oopsie by yours truly. The articles for today should now appear where they normally are, yes?

You're welcome, and sorry again for the mishap.
The best (truly) way to alert us to a problem, though is through the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of every page of the site. I pop in here frequently but as was the case yesterday, I didn't happen to see your comment in time to take a look at the daily lineup. The helpdesk (via the "Contact Us" link) is easier for us to keep tabs on - it's usually the first thing we check in the morning and the last thing before we shut down for the night.

I actually do use the "Contact Us" link most of the time. I chose this venue this time because I actually thought it was probably a non-issue, just some glitch with my computer. I had expected to hear from countless DG'ers that their screen was fine. I was expecting them to recommend the 'clear cache' or reboot fix. I had roughly 1 million windows up at the time and didn't want to reboot. I just didn't want to bug you with it until I heard from others whether it was a real problem, but if you prefer, I'll use "Contact Us" in the future even for the little things like this.
