Love the 1st red dotted and the Black rose mutant Dany

szarvas, Hungary

The first red dotted is not a large flower .... perhaps Kanoko .
But this one has large flowers ! .... they call it : red mist in Japan .

Is that all? LOL!

Gautier, MS

That is awesome Dany! I bet it's just amazing to have them all blooming.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

My MG garden !
First pic :120 small containers ... Mostly one cultivar per container. ( 120 )
In the garden: 16 lines each with 25 cultivars. Drip irrigation. ( 400 )
An other place 2 lines with 70 cultivars - Drip irrigation. ( 140 )
And there in larger containers .... 1cultivar of Ipomoea purpurea and 1 of Nil . At harvest the seeds of Nil and Purpurea are very different so no problems!
But it's not a very good idea because purpurea needs a lot of water (large leaves) .... solution: cut a few leaves! (62 )

The same flower at different times.
Early in the morning in purple color and one hour later the flower is blue!
Chemical transformation of heat!

There are two cultivars of Ipomoea indica .
The blue (wild) just about to bloom!
And variety of Edith Piaf, who nearly died ... here with an ipomoea Nil in a large container ! only some leaves .... Sniff .
Here 'Edith Piaf' flower of last years.
I've never harvested seeds of Ipomoea indica!

Youjiro hybrids have beautiful leaves but the flowers are often sterile - finally! no stamens! ... how many generations for fertility to return!

Wow, that is a lot of plants, and work! Nice job!

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

Can't add anything to Helenas and Lindas remarks. I wholeheartedly agree.

szarvas, Hungary

This flower is smaller than Ipomoea purpurea ... no problem if they are thousands every morning .... this is not the case! Sniff ... Sniff!

Wow Dany! Your mg's are really special beauties.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

I'd say your shy one is anything buy shy, a real show off, I love it.

Dany, you and Helena and I all posted a similiar bloom this morning, your 1st bloom. Mine even
has the blue/purple blob of color right at the edge same as yours.

I like your Blue Shadow blooms too but the pink one has my heart.

This type of flower in this color is rare - medium sized flower opening very well.

Lovely purpurea with Ip nil type leaves.

Love the color of the bloom in the 2nd set of pics.

Gautier, MS

Beautiful blooms and neat leaves too Dany. Really enjoying the show.

szarvas, Hungary

Kikiyosaki a true blue - white throated (many have red throats!).
But it is a variety with strong branch that is not really a climber. I have two foliage color - dark green and varigated.
