Looks like another winner today! 65 and clear.

62 & sunny. I hope it says cooler for weeding today. I had to work around different spots to stay in shade yesterday.

Had 10 drops this morning- I counted them. I didn't even bother to stop planting. Frustrating!!!!!

Tornado warnings and flash flood warnings in Maryland & VA., and heavy rain and severe thunderstorms in New York.

Forecast for the first half of next week is for highs only in the 60's!

Stopped raining about 1 o'clock.....some sun, but mostly cloudy......

59° raining with wind. Not much improvement from the earlier report ☺

Currently 64 degrees with brilliant sunshine in WNY. Very nice.

Stopped at our favorite garden center after breakfast with a dear friend to get "just 3 hanging baskets". We got the 3 hanging baskets - 1 deep red New Guinea Impatiens, a pot of pink wave petunias, purple ivy geranium and white allysum, and 2 black and yellow petunias and 2 pink and ellow petunias to plant in one of our old hanging baskets. Also got 3 baskets of red, white and blue petunias for MIL, a purple basil, two patio tomato plants, 2 African daisies (one purple, one orange) and a purple/yellow/pink lantana. Yup, just 3 hanging baskets. LOL ☺☺☺

It is supposed to rain til mid week next week. I'm sure my flowers and veggies will be overtaken by weeds by that time and it'll be hard work catching up with the weeding. I still have some seedling starts to put out and I can't really do anything at the moment.

You brought the rain with you to ME, huh?

It started last night an hour earlier than they said, of course, as I was driving home from dessert with some women friends
2X it started to downpour so much that I had to stop, I couldn't see ANYTHING, the 2nd time it started was right before I got to my street I couldn't even see the turnoff
but today was absolutely GORGEOUS, got some planting done and hubby and kids got some more deck staining done
