Heehee. Hope it is the preferred color. Enablers, everyone of us.

I actually had a cart with pretties in it and then thought to myself. What are you doing? You are going away in July. Who is going to take care of these babies, so I quickly clicked out of that site.

Mount Bethel, PA(Zone 6a)

I was ordering more, too. Then when I thought about where I would put them,.............no room............no order.

Thomaston, CT

No money!

Mount Bethel, PA(Zone 6a)

Oh, yeah.....that too.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I bought a geranium for it's leaves without knowing the color of the bloom. Well it bloomed and it accents the orange in the leaves perfectly!!
Also when I was with Allison she and I both bought Salvia Oceana Blue. This is it blooming, the color is lovely!!

love the fancy leaved geraniums... no blooms for me yet.. but it is really nice.. put mine in the garden yesterday

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Do you have the tri-colored geranium too? I love it!!

Mount Bethel, PA(Zone 6a)

I bought the same type of geranium plant. I have a mosaic tiled strawberry jar that I fill with very dark reddish begonia and the geranium gets its home in the opening at the top.

Thomaston, CT

Love the colors on both plants.....I don't think I bought any light blue salvia this year....

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Very nice!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I bought a tri color ger. at the flower show Randy and I went to.. from Atlock.. guess it was inside too long .. it lost it's fancy colors .. guessing they will come back

Norwich, CT(Zone 6a)

I love the blue in the salvias.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I bought a bunch this year.. bad news is .. most are not hardy.. will have to hope for cuttings to survive the winter inside

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Just purchased some far bulbs, ^_^
Dutch Iris Bulbs Oriental Beauty (Bag of 15)
Dutch Iris Bulbs Eye of the Tiger (Bag of 15)
Dutch Iris Bulbs Yellow Queen (Bag of 20)

Thomaston, CT

Oh, awesome! You probably have enough snow cover to protect them.....I had one come back this year :>(

Norridgewock, ME(Zone 5a)

I've haven't had a chance to post pictures of some of the things I got this spring. I'm really into conifers and Japanese maples, so that is where I tend to spend my pennies. Here is JM Coonara pygmy (from Topiary Gardens in NY) in a planter with Sedum oreganum and Carex flagelifera Toffee Twist.
Pinus parviflora Azuma (from Cady's Falls Nursery in VT)
Chamaecyparis obtusa Gold Fern (Greenscape nursery in Bangor ME)
When I step back and look at the garden and compare it to how it looked a few years ago (lots fewer flowers now, as I've made space for the trees), I like it, but still, I miss the flowers when the rest of you are posting such pretty pictures! Of course, not much is blooming yet as the bearded iris are just opening, so it will get better, but it certainly isn't the riot of colors it once was!

Wynne, I love your conifers--great texture and colors. Here was my line up of the usual suspects this year. So tiny, so many years yet to grow...

Love the conifers too, I was thinking I need to get more the other day and you just confirmed it

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I added more this year. Love them.

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Ditto to what Jen said.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

They really stand out next to JMs and large leaf shrubs like hydrangea.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

those are nice wynne and rosemary - wynne you do a great job of building containers with jm's and conifers!

i have planted out all the small conifers that were in containers last year - i had some trouble with a couple that did not over winter well or did not like the sun after being in the garage so thought it better to get them in the ground so they do not have to depend on me.........

i will say they really liked the grow mix i had them in as the root systems where 3x from when i planted them, they would have had to come out soon anyway.

Thomaston, CT

Nice collection of dwarf conifers & JMs.....they do look nice in pots....

Thomaston, CT

I was thinking about a nice light blue one......

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

of course I blame Celeste... I wanted some petunias for the tub we planted her mock orange in.. figured it would fill in the empty space in it... and bought these too.. LOL
