Brug and Datura wish lists postings

I started this thread to make it easy for everyone to post their brug and datura wish lists in one thread. Hopefully, we will all eventually be able to have enough of our own cuttings to exchange with each other, or make them available for the cost of postage.

I have ordered about six or seven new ones, so I'll probably have to wait until that check is far enough back in the check register that another check written won't be a big deal. :-)

Arlene, I can't believe anyone would run out of brugs they would want. I didn't want to sound like I had a big wish list, but there are tons of them that I would like to have. Looks like I'll have to put insignis pink on my wish list now. Thanks for letting me know about the Isabella. I always have my niece and friends who will help me use the extras.

tig, I will be watching the mail. Hope your package gets there in good shape. Also hope you get your puter fixed quickly.

Brugie, if you saw my yard....i have so many sitting in pots now, almost all gotten since june 1, and still have some more coming, and these cuttings to get out. trying to keep myself in check. besides, these people on this forum are so nice, you never know what's coming... do you want any of the cuttings listed on the brugman list?

I'd love to have versicolor alba. However, I can wait until next year if someone else wants it. I have at least thirty different kinds now and I'm like you, need to keep myself in check or the hubby might decide that I like the brugs more than him.

I've never seen Pink Lady? Where can I go to see a picture of this one? Sounds pretty. Might want to put it on my list next year.

Well, I'm a new brug lover, so I am not well versed in the different kinds. I did go to one of the hyperlinks someone posted of a foreign dealer. Poppysue said she thought they were about $10.00 each, so this is where my second job will comw in. I did try to par my list down, like everyone else, I want them all. From the pictures, my top wants would be: Isabella, Cinderella, Dornroscher, Herrenhauser, Luminosa, Orangy, Rosalie, Rosamond, Rosie, Tropic Sunset, Dark Rossetta, and Roter Vulkan. Of course Charles Grimildi and Dr. Suess were on this list but some of you kind brug people have helped be move these over into the 'have' column. You have also beegenerous with others I know I will love. I think I will treat myself to a few of these each year. Now, I just have to figure out how to order from someone in a language I don't understand.

Kaylo - Endicott- a long time ago my son's godfather worked for IBM there. He was given IBM stock when he was born. Is it still a big company town? I can add to Brugcrazy's list. Send me your address.

Liz, We moved to Endicott 2 years ago due to DH receiving a "dream job" offer--not at IBM. From what I've heard, IBM had a big layoff several years ago. Thank you so much for your offer of cuttings. I'll send my address via e-mail.

Have y'all had any frost yet? We had a little yesterday morning but everything looked good outside....supposed to warm up again...guess it will be time to put the shorts back on tomorrow.

Gloria, No frost for us yet and none in the forecast. I had on my shorts yesterday afternoon. We have high 40s at night but warms up quickly with the sun. The babies are still outside. Their place is ready inside so they can be rushed in at a moments notice. It's going to be a jungle in here since I went a little overboard at Smotherman's Labor Day Sale. I just saw so many things I thought I couldn't live without. Sam is gonna to have a fit, but he'll get over it.

Knightii has thrown out some beautiful seedlings. I can see why you want it. If some of those hybrids aren't released soon I am going to get some Knightii cuttings myself and start hybridizing them to aurea's.
