tradelist searching

One of the members said in seed trading she had done a search on trade lists looking for a certain seed. I asked her how you do that and she said if I'm in the seed trading forum, look in the upper right hand corner under custom menu. I'm not the brightest star in the sky but I don't see anything about a custom menu in the upper right hand corner. I don't want to keep bothering her so can you tell me how to look for a specific seed that might be listed in someone's trade list. Thanks Dave...vic

Do you want to search your own trade list, or EVERYBODY's tradelists?

If the latter, then just scroll down (below the Menu) and you'll see a "Search DG" box. There you will find everything.

If the former, let me know and I'll explain the "custom menu".

Well.....I've used the search many many times so I guess I know how to use that. I don't have a tradelist done and have never entered anything bc this is my first year and I don't feel I have enough to enter. I do keep a journal (pen and paper) so I guess the answer to your question is the former and you need to explain the custom menu. Sorry to keep bothering you.....v

If you do maintain a journal or tradelist, you can add search boxes that search only your own journal or your own tradelist for entries.

This makes it easier to locate your own stuff, in order to reference your inventories or add information to your journal.

To activate these boxes, click on "Preferences" and then click on "Custom Menu". Ignore the TLID Jump and RID Jump for now.

But, again, these custom searches only search through YOUR OWN journal and tradelist. To search through everyone else's lists, use the general "Search DG" that appears below the menu.
