Those are all lovely Helena. I really like your cross in the last pic

Great blooms Helena. The 2nd one is my favorite today. :-)

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I had a very nice show of blooms today even though they are repeats it's nice to see.

A few more blooms.

Gorgeous Helena. Mauve Splash never takes a bad photo and the 2nd bloom reminds me of how my Blue Silk used to fade to lilac later in the day, the only color left would be on the margin.
Your 2nd set of blooms is special too. Love the wild colored bloom with the Mauve Splashes.

Gautier, MS

Thanks again Jackie. I have at least one neat one today and that's Karen's 2005 Duskie & Chocolate speckled bloom.

A few more and I just noticed that I set the date wrong on my camera after half charging the batteries

Really nice blooms Helena. I;m trying to get my outside pots ready.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie, only had repeat blooms today.

Helena, those are both beauties. Have you got names for them?
Would love to know.

Jacksonville, AR(Zone 7b)

My Purpurea,1st bloom, open on the fence today.
From dropped sds. I've pulled most of them for fear they'll take over.

Thanks Jackie, Pretty bloom too. I have labels on most of the mgs but some with description like from Azuremore that have crossed, also growing quite a few from Karens2005 Extra Mix (Specked) and her Duskies Mix. A few Pink Porcelain and chocolate, my mauve star. Some look like Black King, lots with dark stems and dark colors. I'm getting to where I'm not paying that much attention to the names but just enjoying the blooms!

Helena, I love what might be the Azuremore cross with the wild colors and the Mauve Star
Both are really special.

Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie, I like that wild color mix too. I have a few blooms today too but can only post 2 at a time I think, my pictures are still too large from this camera.

This is Baby Blue Denim from Karen2005 and Chocolate Blzd that looks pink (I think with this camera)

This is a real nice Purple with a few stripes that the camera isn't capturing the correct color, no label either. A nice chocolate too.

Probably Pink Porcelain blzd and Pink blzd.

Gorgeous blizzard blooms Helena.

I don't know if Cocoa Choc was really this dark in 09, could have been

Thumbnail by patootie
Gautier, MS

Thanks Jackie. I think Cocoa Chocolate has very consistant dark blooms. I know mine did.

I'm getting nice blooms, hope others new ones open soon.

Really nice blooms Helena. Will be forever before I see any of my own blooms. My pandy and feathered higes
will be my next to bloom after the stray Milky Way . :-)

Hope I get a Purple no Mai again this summer.

Wow Jackie! That is a beautiful bloom, I'm glad we can have pictures to remember how gorgeous they bloomed.

Just a few repeats today, just wish my camera would show the true color of this one. The color on this chocolate is not as bright either.

I like the dark Black King with Pink Porcelain. Love Peach and orange roses too!

Thanks Jackie and Nick. Neat bloom Jackie. Pretty nice blooms too Nick.

I have a few nice blooms to share today even though they are repeats except for another Denim bloom.

Lovely blooms Nick. I'm partial to Keiryu, reminds me of Blue Blizzard and Blue Tie Dye too.

Helena, gorgeous blooms. Is the 1st one from the mutant, Murasaki or Striped Sazanami?
What is your dark bloom # 4 on the 1st block of pics? Is it Black King?

This should have been my opened bloom today. In bud yesterday, it did a meltdown.

Jackie, #1 from the first block of pictures is Karens 2005 Denim mix and #4 is also from her Extra Mix. It does look like it has Black King in it, being so dark but she also did a lot of crossing with Fujishibori (or her Dusky Mix?)so I really don't know. It's a pretty bloom though, I grew that one last year too.

This bloom is also Karens2005 Pink Blzd related to Hanahubuki.

Love the coloration in that bloom Helena, very pretty

Garland, TX(Zone 8a)

Aww, Jackie: self-defeating MG... Jacksonville, we have a problem (main engine failure)! I'm sure you'll capture the next launch!

Helena, keep posting your awesomeness if you're able. I'll bet you have more admirers of your photos in cyberspace than you may know!

It's that time of year when I actually don't mind rolling out of bed at the crack of dawn. But, I only have a daylily to share today (I think it was worth the early attention since it's its first bloom ever for me ('Bluebird Butterfly')).

Thumbnail by nifty413
Jacksonville, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow Nick, You did it!
That is awesome.

I bought at least 50 new Daylilies this year that I'll receive next week.
I've had a couple of blooms on a few of my existing Daylilies, but haven't taken photos yet.
So, I'll have to settle for Hemmed Stitch Iris to show off for now

Pretty Iris Emma.

Helena, all beautiful but I'm crazy about your 1st and 4th bloom in the 1st block of pics.
Love the pics in your 2nd block too.
My Clematis a couple of weeks ago.

Y'all have great blooms–all of 'em!

Missed my photo ops for today... been feeling 'under the weather' (i.e. very cloudy & drippy). Better luck tomorrow, hopefully!

Gautier, MS

From my garden today!
