Not accepting pictures today

Really frustrated as have been trying to post pics on the Identification Forum and DG keeps timing out on me this past 1/2 hour. Posts without pics work fine.

How big are your pics? I've found with larger high res pics it'll sometimes do that. Especially if you're trying to upload multiples at one time. I've seen lots other people post pics this afternoon so I suspect your problems are caused by file size vs an issue with the site.

Been using the same sized pics for years and this has not changed.

Your pictures might not have changed, but traffic on the site might have increased--I've noticed the issue sort of comes and goes, sometimes I can upload a big picture fine and other times the same size picture will make things hang up so I've wondered if it has to do with how many other people are trying to upload pictures at the same time. Also the upload multiple photos feature was just introduced recently so if you're running into problems uploading multiples, I'd either downsize them or load them one at a time.

Been loading one at a time. Consistent problems regardless of time of day.

I'd still try downsizing your pictures a bit and see if that helps--I've seen plenty of other people posting pictures so it's definitely not an issue where the site isn't allowing picture uploads.

Terry, not necessary. It is a problem with a Firefox plugin. If I jump to safe mode, I can upload. I haven't ID'd the plugin yet, but did solve the problem from a "work-around" point of view. I have Firefox well locked down.
