But Cheryl, you should see some of them! LOL I have removed all of the cats I could find to the passi I have here. I hope they didn't mind the relocation.

If you are low on food Stephanie, bring some cats to me tomorrow....I have plenty since a lot is in the shade.
Also....anyone want a small European Snowball bush? I won't dig after this afternoon, so let me know soon. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/224543/
I have a lot of Pipevine caterpillars I could bring 5 of them if you have pipevine.
Sheila, I bet my mom would love it, if it isn't too big. She has always loved 'Snowballs'!!!
Car's loaded to the roof & I'm getting in the shower & on the road!
:~)
Sheila, how would I transport them to you?
Have a safe trip Smockette... We are about to head out to Waco... See you tomorrow... Love ya....
So jealous! Next time.
O.K Sheila, I will bring them..
Ok on the snowball for Mom Smockette.
Stephanie...I will bring a cage with me, just put them in a plastic container with a few leaves...or we can wait and do it later.
Thanks Jo!
Carrie....Sorry you aren't here in TX yet, but we always have one in the fall also....see you then.
Ok....I dug just a few Elephant Ears and put your name on them Baja Blue.
I dug and trying to root some ironweed for you Marty...so far looks good, have new leaves!
Michael...I have a potted elm tree I am bring for you.
Thats it for me folks....see everyone tomorrow!!
Great Sheila can hardly wait to get it. Just a heads up on the Monarda I dug for rouxcrew and stephanie. The sudden turn in temps to 90 plus has withered the plants severely now I have them inside where it is cooler to see if I can nurse them back to health. Also the dill I am bringing is really small as I had to bring them indoors when it was getting hot cause if they bolt they stop growing when still small. I am including seed for the dill and will dig my main monarda plant and divide it if these do not look any better by tonight. Otherwise see everyone tomorrow!

I have an unclaimed baby ironweed if the one you dug up doesn't root, Sheila. I can give that one to Marty.
Thanks for the iron weed and for helping me out with the table problem, Sheila. See y'all tomorrow.
PS, Dennis, I traded for and planted you some Amsonia tabernaemontana and I have 5 baby ones coming up. I hope you are good with babies because I had to stratify these in the fridge and then plant them. Hence, they are at this very early stage.
I have a small torch aloe if anyone wants it?
Perko, I'd like some wintersweet shrub seeds please.
Perkie, I would love that torch
aloe purty please !
Don't dig your main monarda plant Michael, I will have some extras with me tomorrow.
OHHHH Sheila !
Thanks do much !!
I have the requests down from frostweed, newtonsthirdlaw, perkoschilifarm, trishann, and smockette.
Steadycam3, thanks for doing all that work on the amsonia tabernaemontana. I'll try my best to nurse it through the summer!

Dennis, wanna share the amsonia seedlings?????
Sounds good, stephanie.
Awesome! Thanks!
msgrubby I have 12 wintersweet seeds for ya! BajaBlue the Aloe is for you! Sheila I saved the Jacob Cline so I did not have to divide my mane plant. Though they are not as purty as they were before I yanked them out there is a hefty rhizome on each one so no doubt they'll fire up babies all around.
I have 2 brown lunch bags with lots of fresh Rosemary cuttings! Going once...going twice! I'll have them so if anyone wants them now I'll reserve them otherwise it'll be at the RU.
Glad you saved the JC monarda Perkco....mine is Raspberry Wine. I did have the Jacob Cline but think I lost it.
Didn't have anything to trade, but I will gratefully receive ANYTHING for the school garden. Still some blank spots to fill in before I mulch it all down for the summer.
I just love you guys!!!
On second thought, I will bring some cuttings:
Coral Honeysuckle, which I know will root easily!
Pipevine, Aristolochia macrophylla
Texas Aster
I got home safely, everyone, about 9:30 as planned. Thanks to all of you who participated and worked hard and made it happen. I did not get nearly enough visiting done, having arrived late. I guess I'll just have to catch up on line and in the fall.
Thanks be to God you are
home safe and can sleep
in yoir own bed.
Seems like you made better
time returning home than
arriving !
Enjoyed meeting you and
thanks for everything !
hugs, BB

Yes, we are very glad you made it home safely.
Josephine.
Thanks to Sybil & Jeff who opened their home, and for her family members who were there to help. Hope you all enjoyed the day….I did.
Marty... Thought about you last night as I sat falling asleep in front of the tv trying to watch the Rangers. Glad to know you are safe. We had a good time and good food.
I came home with some great plants...more than expected of course. However, I was more excited to bring the critters home! I got mason bees from Dennis, Gulf Frits caterpillars from Stephanietx, Pipevine caterpillars from Josephine, and a black swallowtail and Gulf Frit chrysalis from Debnes!!
Butterfly brew that I brought was made using this receipe:
from a post by TexasPuddyPrint, Edinburg,TX:
“Will let you in on a secret we use down here - we use Butterfly Bait to attract the fruit feasters. We find a large variety of butterflies eating at bait stations - Blomfield Beauty, Gray Cracker, Guatemalan Cracker, an assortment of Leafwings, Question Marks, Hackberrys, Emperors, Blue Waves, Red Rims, Band Cell Sisters, Red Admirals, Banners, Malachites, Satyrs...oh, I can't remember them all...but the stuff really pulls them in.
The mix is simple: Mash a few pounds of ripe bananas, a pound of brown sugar and 1 bottle of Guiness Stout beer. Just put everything in a blender and mix it up. Use it fresh or let it ferment in an old milk jug for several weeks to a year! I keep a gallon of it in my south Texas garage (temperature warm up in there!) and open the lid every couple of days or to vent it so it won't explode. As I use it I mix up a new batch and add it to the jug.
I have several pieces of firewood (with bark) hanging from my trees. I used a saw to cut out some grooves into it so the butt-bait will stay put and run off. Many of the folks out at the butterfly gardens just pour it on old tree stumps or fence posts.”
