Great photos, Pixie....I'm sure you are way early with the blooms, too.....I have bitter cress all over as well as chickweed just smothering my gardens....have never seen it so aggressive.....

Very nice Celeste!

Weeds are def going gang busters this spring...I spent awhile weeding the inferno strip along the road, I planted low growing sedum and it not growing as fast as I would have liked...the weed out there...clover!

Funny how different areas in my yard have different weeds

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

so glad I found a bunch of the fake strawberry weeds this year before they took a good hold.. they can be a pain with the rocks below.. here are some shots today

the first hellebore was from Celeste.. and the pulmy .. ooohhh have to do 2 posts!!

I wound up with that strawberry weed in my front bed. I don't know how it got there, but yes it takes over. I think I got in under control this spring before it took over.

Next it getting that creeping charlie under control. It starts from the woods and makes it way into the side bed. I went out and used that weed and grass killer and went all along the woods edge. I am hoping that will get that charlie under control and I can get it out of the beds.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I have that weed. It showed up here in plants from a garden center. Its Roundup time. The spot where they first appeared has quadrupled in size in 3 years. I have to get it under controle this year.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

it's a pain to pull.. hate all the runners

Yes make sure you have a nail appointment the next day after pulling...lol

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

stopped doing that years ago!.. thank goodness

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I just loved the hand massages that come with getting your nails done

Yeah get that barren strawberry now real easy to pull

Williamstown, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOl Flow, I asked if they could do my whole body when they do that , it feels so good...lol Next is my toes for the spring and then summer.

The tulips I planted last fall, all came up short. They are blooming but are shorter than I have seen. Is there a type of tulip that is shorter then normal?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yes they do have some tulips that are shorter
TULIPA GREIGII are all 8-12"
TULIP KAUFMANNIANA also up to 12"

Williamstown, NJ(Zone 6b)

Well I guess that is what I have. We got them at the dollar store.
