Well, both I guess.....nothing like putting things into perspective by just going out to look at the night sky.....

Yes, that is really awesome.

360 degree view of the night sky is unbelievable! Reminds me of a religion teacher telling us as kids that if we could perceive the beauty of the night sky entirely, it would kill us with awe. Guess having only a photo makes it safe to look.

Some shots from my visit to the WTC Memorial.

1. My close HS friend, Steve, an ESU cop.
2. Friend of the family, a LT in the FDNY.
3. People touching the names.
4. The 'survivor tree', the only tree to make it through.
5. Fireman's helmet.

2. The Freedom Tower, or 1 WTC - more than 90 stories high now.

Have to admit that I have a tough time even posting these.

One of the unfortunate things that I am sure the designers did not anticipate is that the east side of the north pool is always wet from the wind picking up the water from the fall and creating a spray. Feel bad for those with loved ones names on that side. Hope they address that.

I wanted no pics of myself or the kids. Just felt wrong. Did not even try for 'interesting' shots as I would normally do. Just felt I wanted to document it and get the he** out.

I emailed High Country Gardens and they will either replace them or send me refund....waiting to find out if I have to wait for them to ship the replacements in the fall

Woodpeckers love those trees! I have 2 apple trees & a pear that are hollow inside like those....animals must live in them, because Suey sticks her nose in them!

and last batch - still getting use to using this new camera - have not progressed past auto features for the moment - will start that this spring

there was a beaver there when i showed up although i just got a look at its tail when it dove in the water for cover :)
