Miscellaneous Shots 2012 - No. 1 'WAITING FOR SPRING'

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Interesting! We like Staunton. It has an interesting downtown. The restaurant is a renovated flour mill. The food is wonderful. It is always busy, but worth the wait. I realize a shortcoming in icab.....you can't edit a typo or misspelling......like "medium" instead of "median" as i intended to write. LOL. After 2 pretty good days (fatigue-wise) i was so fatigued today I was aching all over. So, typing anything coherent was practically not gonna happen! It's 8:30 and I'm already tucked in bed. Goodnight all!

Assuming you won't see this til tomorrow, I hope you slept well, Louise.

Thomaston, CT

Hoping for a better day today, Louise! Victor, I can see why Gt. Barrington topped the list....one of my favorite towns, has Ward's Nursery, SOCO Creamery, a nice Thai restaurant, many nice little shops, Windy Hill Orchard....I try to get up there several times during the year....

The article also pointed out there are a number of 'hipsters' there. So important! ;)

Thomaston, CT

Yep...they're pretty visible on Main St., but that's never bothered me!

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

Pretty funny about the hipsters. They should have ratings of the colleges that way. You have to go there, and if college isn't in session, you can judge by the number of fixer bikes that the hipsters own.

Hoping to get some shots of the shuttle on the 747 tomorrow.

The crane arms looked like they were doing semaphore

Hi everyone! We have landed and have been very busy unpacking and unleafing the beds. It has been in the 30s for our morning walks, and heading for the 20s in the next couple of days. What do you think will happen to these:?

:)

Welcome home!
Is it supposed to be sustained temps at 20°?

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Yay, happy landings!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Welcome back, Louise!

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Sure don't like how icab perverts the photos! I need to see if there is a different app for the ipad. Regardless, I think you get my drift. Lol

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I have been looking for a perverting app. Thanks!

(Pam) Warren, CT(Zone 5b)

How funny, the perversion in iCab. I haven't seen that, but I can only upload 2 pics per post. Mine is the original iPad. Do you think that makes the difference?

This is great. Gotta whip my family into shape and duplicate this. Including the cats. Watch the little guy in the back.

Great family video, and clearly a lot of fun to sing these bombastic queen songs. Wish I had made a video of our three 1 year olds reproducing (hardly singing) the Beach boys Barbara Ann. Better than their renditition of Scuppers the Sailor Dog.

Thomaston, CT

Hi Louise....glad you are safely home! Yes, not happy about the low temps predicted here!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

Oh, that was wonderful!!! Brought back memories of our long car trips to go camping in the Adirondacks. DH's choices were more along the lines of the Kingston trio. Heehee
