North Central Texas RU April 28, 2012 (Trade Thread)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks, Kate!

Arlington, TX

Holy Moly! To the 4 people I have promised prairie verbena, I don't have any seedlings! I had an epiphany while weeding today and now know the 16 seedlings I have are tahoka daisy. I will try my hardest to get all 4 of you one viable plant. I am sorry. Going out now to evaluate taking more cuttings.
Cheryl

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I'll take the tahoka daisy!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I accidentally yanked up some baby kwanzo daylily babies while weeding the other day if anyone wants those. There are 3 of them.

I also have a crinum lily that has never bloomed for me that I need to dig up and relocate to a sunnier spot. It has babies, so I'd be happy to share. It's a light pink color supposedly.

Lastly, I have some pink skullcap if anyone wants any!

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

Wow, y'all have all been so busy.

I'm finally getting back to check in here. I don't know if I caught all the posts but to those asking about the 'bee friend' (LOL), my friend's name is Happi. I talked to her today and she would be grateful for any bee plants anyone would like to pass along to her. Thank you to all y'all for sharing with her.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes to you Cheryl on the Paper Whites.

Marty can I get a plantain again this year?...it's bad when you loose a weed, but sure didn't see it after setting them out. I will put it in a different spot this year.

Dennis may I have some inland sea oats?

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Yes to the plantain, Sheila. I'll try to bring a smaller one for you as it may have more time to get established before the heat arrives. And thank you Jo, so much for the cross vine. Ive been wanting one for a while and some thread reminded me of it again so I decided to ask, hoping. Cheryl, I'd like a tahoka daisy or 2 if you can spare. TIA

Arlington, TX

Stephanie I have red star hibiscus if you want it.
Cheryl

Houston Heights, TX(Zone 9a)

Newton, if you have more than one red star hibiscus, I'd like one. I started one last year from seed but once transplanted out, I think I did not water enough to compensate for the heat.

Sheila, I lost the two lyreleaf sages Dennis gave me last year so apparently these "weeds" do have their limits.

Arlington, TX

TD for steadycam.

Arlington, TX

I only have one Star Hibiscus, sorry.
C

Arlington, TX

Sheila can I offer you a tahoka daisy?
