I see it was Stephanietx who wanted fringeflower. Stephanie, is it Lorapetulum?
North Central Texas RU April 28, 2012 (Trade Thread)
Josephine, thanks for the asters.
Joy, thanks for the rain lilies.
Cheryl, I have you down for Texas rock rose and gold columbine.
Steady, yes I was looking for lorapetalum.
I have everyone down for what they wanted.
Phyllis, I'll bring you a Mealy Blue Sage.
Stephanietx, I took Lorapetulum cuttings from my neighbor this AM and put them in pots to root for you. I did not see any volunteers to pot up. I used rooting medium and put greenhouse hats on the pots. Let's hope they want to root themselves. I'll keep you posted
Stephanie...if Marty is not able to root those, you are welcome to take cuttings from mine to try yourself. I don't have too much success with cuttings of anything myself.
Thanks Marty & Sheila. I'm not too good at rooting things either, but I'll try if I need to! (Let's hope I don't!)
Thank you Stephanie. What can I bring you?
I have a couple of crepe myrtles that have appeared in my yard (from the neighbor's I believe). I have no idea if they are trees or shrubs, or what color they are. I can pot those up if anyone is interested.
I also have a few (2 or 3) Toad lilies that need a new home. I'd be happy to dig them up for anyone interested.
I would take a toad lily Stephanie, what can I bring for a trade?
Cheryl
Will put your name on one! I'm really surprised the survived last summer!
Do you still have any prairie verbena left?
Oh yes I do, will save a couple for you.
C
Wonderful!
Sheila, I'll take one of your fall asters if no one's claimed them yet.
Catz~I noticed you were looking for monarda. Have you gotten some or are you still looking? I have plenty I can pot up for you.
Steady~Are you getting willow leaf aster from Frostweed? If not, I have plenty and can bring you a few.
Phyllis~If you still have some society garlic, I'd like some of that. I might also have some heirloom tomato plants to share by the time the RU gets here. :)
You got an aster Stephanie.
Catz...do you want an aster for the friend needing bee attractors? They are really a draw in my yard as is Frostweed.
TY Sheila!
Marty, I see you want Copper Canyon Daisy. I accidentally pulled up a Copper Canyon Daisy stem that had rooted. I potted it up. Do you want it?
Sheila,
I would love the paper whites if they aren't claimed. Is there anything on my list I can give you?
Cheryl
Anyone else for mason bees? I think that I will have quite a few tubes to give away. I have put out less than half of mine and they are very busily nesting. I don't think that I will need to put out many more (if any!) to fill my three cans.
If anyone would like theirs early and are in the vicinity of Grapevine then let me know and we can coordinate an early pickup!
My swamp milkweed is showing no signs of life. Is it a goner? If so, does anyone have one to give away?
Yes, Stephanietx I would like to have the CC daisy. Thank you!
Stephanie,I will bring you society garlic.
Dennis, I think I would like some mason bees. No, I would really like some mason bees, but need to be sure I have enough stuff for them. Will my vegie garden, 50 X 50 suffice? Can't predict how much of my yard will recover, but I always try to plant with bees and butterflies in mind.
Joy
Catz, The bees have worked my Cowpen Daisies all winter. I dont have any seedlings but I have plenty of seed if your bee keeping friend would like to plant some. Mine seems to be always covered with bees. Speaking of "covered with", my elderberries are being chomped by a drove of Saltmarsh cats. Some of my Monarchs have started "hanging around" waiting for their butterfly birthdays.

Joy, your veggie garden is almost the size of my backyard, so I would think you should be fine. :)
Woo HOOO!!!!!!
Marty~The CC Daisy is yours!
Thank you, Phyllis!
Kate could I get an okra plant if you have any extras?
Cheryl
I've updated my list with giving/receiving. Please check it to make sure I have you down for everything correctly!!
Josephine,
My pigeon berry is a no show may I have one of yours?
Cheryl
Yes of course, it is not too late for them to show up yet, they are usually pretty late.
I wont dig around there then and will keep an eye out for it.

Dennis, have you down for gaillardia (if it grows) -- grumble, grumble
Cheryl, have you down for Okra
Dennis, I'll take mason bees :)
Steady, could I please have some plantain and purslane?
TY!
Does anyone have any coleus? I'm not looking for anything in particular, just something fun.
I have 2 good sized pups of this agave if anyone wants them- http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/60641/
I am also in the process of removing all the millions of cowpen daisy seedlings, does anyone other than Anna want any of them? I can easily pot up a few more.
C
Kate, yes to the plantain and the purslane. Oh, and I just realized I NEED a crossvine. Does anyone have one to share? Cuttings are OK is you dont have a rooted plant. TIA
Sheila, Could I get one of the clumps of Fall aster from you? Please list some things you might like to have. I 'd like to bring you something you want.
I can bring a potted Crossvine for you Marty, they are very slow to root, but they get there eventually.
Stephanie, I've got Coleus started so (If it grows) I'll bring you some.
