a great free-lance editing opportunity for some Dave's Garden-ers :-)

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

We have a great number of gardening experts here at DG and we all appreciate how generously you share your knowledge and advice - it keeps our community flourishing and humming with activity.

However, if you are interested in combining your garden knowledge with some editing skills, there's an opportunity that is tailor-made just for you at DIY. You can read more here:

Don't be shy! The requirements for this role is to have some general gardening knowledge (really general, or even in one specific aspect of gardenin.) You don't have to be formally trained in horticulture or botany :-) Any questions?

Maybe seeing "professional" has scared away the typical backyard gardeners and regular participants that know a little about everything.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Could be. But professional just means you're being paid for your efforts - which in this case, could be a really good thing for those so inclined :-)

Do I need a resume to upload on there - mine certainly wouldn't say anything about gardening on it.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

I don't think so - just use the link above and complete the online form :-)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

You do have to include a resume.

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

Sorry - when I looked at it, I saw just the online form; I didn't notice a resume was also requested.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Maybe you don't see that if you already have a log in. If you are new or hit "apply", it requires everything.

I did finally get it done. I just included a letter in the resume spot since no way am I going to be able to figure out how to produce a resume out of 'hey I grow plants and like to write'. Thanks for your help - haven't heard from them yet except an email saying that they received it.

Thanks for your help!!

Good luck kjuddy!

Thanks!

Indeed - good luck to everyone who applied!!!!

Ah Terry, right up my alley. I used to work for a local newspaper and wrote gardening articles. I am also the chairwoman of the ground committee at a local small museum. But I sure will have to rewrite a resume, lol.
