LOL!! Valuable finger for sure.
I would love to be able to tour your garden in person one day, it always looks beautiful.
February 2012 Blooms
love looking at all the blooms. a couple of my roses have very small blooms on them...other than that denada here to show. enjoy seeing the pics here though
grazie
I guess there is more than having a green thumb...also need an intuitive index!
LOL
Today I THREW seeds of:
Zinnias Elegans (Optimum Soil Temp. for Germination: 75°F)
Sea Shells Cosmos (Optimum Soil Temp: 70°-80° F)
I just feel that the temperature is getting really nice now.
I hope for some rain in a few days.
I have planted four times the amount of seeds:
one for me
one for the birds
one for the wind
and one that will not germinate
Wish me luck !

KXAN-Wildflower Forecast
Experts say Central Texas will be bright and colorful with wildflowers this year thanks to rain.

Very nice Stephanie, I love them all, I also love the fact that we can put more that one picture on a post, that is really nice too.
I have plenty of purple wood violets if anyone wants any. LMK. Marty
Innocently, I planted 4 little plants some 44 years ago. Despite all my efforts, they now cover almost the entire 1/3 acre. Will cover any and every thing else in sight. Give it A LOT OF THOUGHT before introducing these thugs to your yard.
Steady, I'd love some wood violets if you don't mind.
catz, I'll make sure to bring you some purple wood violets. I dont have a lawn and my beds are always mulched so I dont have any problem with invasive-ness.
Thank you :)
Beautiful blooms!!
Looks great Dennis!
Spring Bouquet viburnum is amazing.
dfwdennis, is your plant in the sun or shade?
So beautiful ...
It is up against the east side of my house. It is having a good year. :)
so pretty. I have never tried to grow any perennial geraniums. At our previous house we had no shade at all. where we built our house...I am still learning what will grow where. we are just 1/4 mile "up the hill"...but growing conditions are completely different from our spot "down the hill",lol. I am thinking that they might grow in my front bed.
My yard is smelling wonderful right now. There is an agarita in full bloom in one part, and my Mexican plum is starting to bloom in another part. It is amazing how far those scents can travel.
My mexican plum is just starting too.
So is mine, so pretty, and my Texas mountain laurel too.
hmmm. I have never seen or smelled a mexican plum. undoubtedly I am missing out.
wow isn't spring exciting !
Sheila_FW you need to post into the March 2012 thread !!
I know ... time goes fast !!!
Thank you for showing the snowbells. My great aunt had those at her place. I did not know what they were called and have been looking for a long time for some. Now I know what to look for. :)
