Weather In Your Garden # 111

got up to 43 here - hiked up a mtn. today - should have brought my yak trax lots of ice spent all my time on top of rocks or off trail on snow.

It's 23 now, high of 41 today!!!!!!!!!

This has been one of the mildest winters I can remember. It is suppose to be 45* today. I think I see the beginnings of buds on my one apple tree..... it worries me. I'm afraid things will start to pop only to be killed off by a blizzard.

The fair weather also makes me want to start my tomato and pepper seeds but I know it's far too early.

24 now going to 52.. I keep thinking of starting things sooner.. I didn't put my WS seeds out yet.. kind of glad.. might be germinating in the jugs already

I saw a meteor while walking this morning about 6:40 am, it looked like it was 1/8 mile in front of me, just above the treetops, very bright and fast. It looked about the size of a baseball with a 5 foot tail. It was awesome.

It really was cool,
funny because I walk behind a church, and a school bus was in the parking lot running, which is unusual, so I was looking that way to see what the noise was from.
And then I saw it right in front of me.
I'm still in awe.
