We've got about 2" of snow overnight but it's now turning to sleet. It's 27 °F now, high for today 36 which means it will turn to all rain later on this afternoon......I hope!

Hope it's not coming after Groundhog Day! Drove down to see my friends in heavy rain.....hit heavy fog coming home, but I was close to my town by then.....

34 and cloudy. it snowed overnight, and DH was called into work @ 7 am to run the snowplow

30 and sunny high of 35 today. Everything is coated with ice from yesterday. I can hear it crackling, soon it will be drip, drip, drip!

That looks pretty, but I know ice is no fun.....cloudy here right now, but clearing & heading to 45....what a non-winter so far....am loving it!

42F and some sun here! Good thing too. DD bumped the physics teacher's car in the school parking lot. Meanwhile someone else did a similar bump nearby as a hit and run. The boys who saw it mistook it for my DD and reported her, while the real driver admitted nothing. We didn't panic that we'd have a felon on hand, and it got straightened out overnight because the school has video surveillance. So the weather is helping because DH is working on the car outside today. DD was calm, but for the wrong reason. She had the idea that police wouldn't arrest an honor student!

very nice day here - went out hiking and brought my pruning saw and cut up trees that had fell from the Oct. storm that were laying across the trails.

We just settled with the physics teacher that our DD actually did hit. Planning on $1700 so her insurance is presenrved. Our own car would have cost more to fix well--bumper headline, hood and fender, and too bad it's damaged. It's a late model car that we might have sold nicely considering all the work the kids did on it.
