I have had trouble with this off and on but I on my dmails I press "mark as unread " and nothing happens. It doesn't come back up on my homepage as unread.

What do you do immediately after you click "mark as unread"?
Wait for it to show its unread. Its working fine ATM.
If you click on "Mark as Unread" you must then click on another tab at the top of the page, or use your browser button to move away from the page. If you do anything on that page, the system thinks you've "read" it again and will remove the "unread" status.
Its not that big of a deal. I just remember going to another page and thinking the # of unread emails wasnt right. I only notice it ever so often and I always do the same thing. Just like when I click on skip to new and it only goes down a couple posts. It only happens on dmail and many times I do it just to see "what will happen". I answer a dmail go back to it and click on skip to new and it goes down 3 posts. I know I was the last to post so it should go down to the bottom. Oh Well
