So many great shots here from everyone!

Ladi- Love the look on that Cardinals face!

Nanny, Love that Pileated!

Dave, Great catch on the Bluebird!

Duc, Love all your birds!

Stafford County, VA

Thanks Nanny and Pelle. I just happened to catch the female in almost the exact same position three days ago. Didn't look at those pictures until now.

Wow burn....how interesting that she still has orioles. Seem to be more than the usual number of birds in odd places this winter!

Nice shots LB!

We have Juncos but not as many as we have had in other winters. I am inclined to think our number of birds are due to the new dog. He is a bit bigger and much younger then our previous dog. So he is out much more and enjoys dispersing the birds!

Dave, I can only dream of capturing a bird in flight like your bbs. Beautiful photos!

Nanny, that pileated is really awesome! I can't even get a flicker to land on any of my suets or feeders and look what you're catching-wow!

Burn, we need more people like your sister that will feed birds like the orioles. Great photo.

Ladi, great photos of your finch, cardinal and junco! That cardinal sure is beautiful.

I don't have any photos yet so here's one of my older Bewick's Wrens.

Beautiful Bluebirds and Cardinals. Wish we had those colorful ones out here.

Fabulous shots of birds everyone. I'm so far behind so I can't make individual compliment to each as I'd like. Not much going on around here except a couple migrating water fowls.

(Zone 5a)

I am behind on this thread, too. :) I am a smidge jealous of the Pileated. What a great feeder bird. All the other shots are great!

Today, we had 1 Tree Sparrow, handful of House Sparrows and 1 Blue Jay. Not a good FeederWatch day at all.... I am glad I have yesterday's numbers which are a little better. We learned another neighbor is feeding the birds. I think the birds have a rotation system, because we will have some pretty good days. I cannot get too upset when I find out others are feeding, because I know it has brought us great joy, along with all the time we've taken to learn about these creatures. I don't want to be selfish and get mad at others for trying to experience the same thing.

We were thrilled to have a winter Robin.

LOL Chilly! Same sentiments going on here. A friend came over to see the hummingbird and it didn't show all day until after he left. I figured a neighbor must either have a feeder out or have something blooming that it likes. Unlike you however, I was not so gracious about it. I went out and bought a smorgasbord of hummer favorites at the local nursery! Heeheehee! Take that neighbor!

Great shots everyone!
Duc, love the Bewick's Wren and the waxwings.
Burn, can't believe those crazy baltimore orioles!
Nanny, looks cold but you seem to be keeping those birds happy!
Ladi_burd, nice series -- very colorful!
Dave, how lucky you are to take hundreds of bluebird shots a day! I love both of those!

I only took one good shot today. Dropped my camera the other day, so a little worried. I'm pretty sure the bad shots were my fault though, but here is an Orange-crowned Warbler who is actually showing his orange crown. A Ruby-throated Kinglet dive bombed him a couple of times. Wish I'd gotten a pic of that! Guess he was eager to take a bath too.

The Orange-crowned Warbler is soooo cute, Elphy.
