Patti, do you sell any of your pottery on the DG marketplace?
Garden Projects #7
great question Jen ! !
Very Dali-esque!
I have been selling my pots at an Open Studio Sale that is held twice a year for 2 weeks in Dec and one in April. I better get busy as that is coming soon. As for selling my work on line, I would hate to as people can't really know how some of mine are still as heavy as a bowling ball nor would I want to spend the time wrapping them up for shipping.
Wha, these faces are going out into the veggie bed to scare away the evil bugs that eat my plants. Birds aren't a problem so far. I am making a lamp for over the sink that isn't scary at all, but so far is just a tad too small so I will throw another one this week end.
JoAnn, it did more than crawl, as the glaze flaked off in such a way that it formed sharp glass bumps that could cut someone, so I will pitch it once I ask someone that will know why it did that. I think I put on an underglaze but then didn't adequately cover it up with a transparent glaze so the underglaze is exposed and very sharp. Learning.
Ran outside first thing this morning now that I am home to see what is up. Great to see spring starting, though we haven't had winter yet. NOT complaining. Patti
Sometimes when the overglaze is a lower temp than whats under it,it will melt early and fall off. I spent tons on new kiln shelves when that happened.
Daves is the most diffacult site to load images to. Other gardn sites are easier.
Wow - so unfair, Patti! Beautiful!
Lucky you Patti! So nice to see color popping!!
oh wow.. and I was getting excited about the pussy willow buds getting fat.. you beat us by a long shot
I do have yellow crocus blooming now.
I have a dandelion...big whoop....Patti, loved the masks, and the dish.....so nice to see your bulbs starting....all that hard work paid off....I spent 2 hours today raking up twigs & small branches left from the Oct. storm...have several hours more...plus, a huge rose shrub was totally crushed by the snow....I have to cut it down.....
Robindog, snow, almost a foreign word this winter, but I suspect March could be a doozie and total crush everything that has seen no snow since that early storm in Nov. Patti
We had snow last night, bout a couple of incehs.
Highs today will be in the 40's so snow will be gone.
March is full of surprises. "In like alion" 10 years ago meant a blizzerd that dumped 20 inches on us.
We've had snow on Easter.....but I'm hoping there will be no more this year.....
My spirea thunbergii is already leafing out! Crazy.
Was out taking some leaves off bulbs coming up, Agastache is growing already(smells wonderful), have Daylily foliage coming up
Nice! Which are they, Allison?
Cool.
You are so good. I seem to kill more seedlings than I grow. Bad. Patti
I really need a greenhouse
Those seedlings look wonderful...Yes, Patti, I'm afraid I kill most of mine.....have my fingers crossed this year, though....they look pretty good.....
Saw 2 easy garden projects I want to do this year
1st is a fairy garden in an old wheelbarrow, wonderful for me so I can have it in the backyard in the sun and Wall-e won't be able to dig it up
the other is a sedum planting in a birdbath...I LOVE that idea, I have one that is starting to rust, I just need scrape it down and poly coat
Here's the step by step instructions for the wheelbarrow fairy garden

Oh, very cute....
You just know I want to bring over a hose and ........it's Tsunami time!! ;)
Awe Victor
Hee hee. Boys will be boys...
Ok...never thought of that....truly, men are from Mars!
Watch out, Victor, or the garden fairies will have their revenge. Maybe you should go to Findhorn Scotland either (LOL).
ha ha Victor...you stay away from my fairy gardens!!!!
You don't want those trees?? Total veggie killer will do a number on them.
