Thanks for all the well-wishes with my cataract surgery. All is going well, but now I have a nasty cold. OTC meds, rest and maybe chicken soup are on the agenda for today.

Have a blessed and thankful Thursday, friends. ☺

Sunny, breezy, heading up to 50 in Goshen where I'll be most of the day.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

I've been a planting fool this morning, and it's getting quite warm now. High of 83 today. Lowes has a new full sun impatiens. I'm skeptical, but I'll let you know. I bought 4 magenta "sunpatiens" and just got them in.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Thomaston, CT

Oh, please take photos of those plants, Louise....I could plant them around the wellhouse if they do indeed take sun! Had fun at the farm, made sure the kids were outside most of the day.....

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

I'll do that, Marilyn. They said they don't do well in the summer here, but I would expect them to in the New England summers if they do okay in the sun here this winter. They are a form of a New Guinea impatiens.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Louise I had variegated sunpatiens and an orange one... both in a good amount of sun.. one being my hot deck.. and they did great

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

Oooh, that's great to know, Allison! Did they get very big? I'll bet the variegated ones are really pretty! Do you have any shots of them? I love the color of the ones I bought and might go back for some more, knowing that they really can take a sunny spot. Thanks for posting to give us some good info on them.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

58 and sunny, went to see DD today.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

here is the orange... it was in a big tub and grew to 3 foot tall.. totally amazed me.. I have to see if the cuttings I took rooted or not

found a pulled back shot of the one in the tub

edit - you can see it shaded the canna I put in there.. and grew taller than it because of that
