Today is just beautiful for a Nov. day! I can't believe it but it's sunny and 58 degrees. :)

Whew! Breathing a sigh of relief that you and yours are ok, Marilyn! When I called you, the answer machine was not your voice, but your messages weren't full, so I was hoping! So sorry about your trees...glad you'll be getting one in the spring to look forward to! So nice that you could help your family so much, but I know you must be exhausted. Rest up and be well!

Bird bath top on the stump of the old tree with the new tree planted nearby?

DH found the top of an oak tree blown over. It is in our 'woods' but on top of a winterberry bush so he intends to move the top.

the town is coming to look at the broken tree today... keep your fingers crossed for me that they will pay to take it down.. said the branch won't be picked up for 3 - 4 weeks... Randy is going to start hacking it up though ... hate that it will take so long

Currently 55 degrees with a little drizzle in WNY. Going up into the 60's today.

Today is the cataract surgery on my left eye. Looking forward to seeing even more clearly when it's all over.

Gorgeous day! Just back from Paterson Falls with the kids. Very impressed. It was just made a national park so hopefully there will be improvements.

Great idea for a new park. It was almost 68° this afternoon. Put in a hour & a half weeding this afternoon & my bicep is worse than the shoulder as far as pain. It will come. It looks like it is going to be warm all week. Need the good weeding weather.

oh and the town's guy said the tree would be ok... the way it is... of course I called back and calmly asked .. really... are you sure???... the thing is split down the middle about 3 foot long down by the trunk... don't want it to fall on the neighbors house.. she then said she will have the tree service look at it... I saved her recorded message that the town guy said it was ok though.. just in case

60s but felt cooler with a sea breeze today. didn't get as much area cleared while weeding, but it is a different type iris bed as I can't get at both sides easily.

National grid ex was wihout power when it was off in foxborough. Patriots had opened the stadium so people could recharge portable electronics.
