I don't believe in coffee, tea or hot cocoa! ^_^ It's all a corporate conspiracy.

LOL@victor

I always told my kids (now 33 and 27) that when they stopped "believing" they stopped getting santa presents. They still "believe" even though they have kids of their own now. :-)

Corporate Coffee Conspiracy? Maybe. I love my coffee. I've been drinking coffee since I was 6 years old. Didn't stunt my growth at all.

Today i made a pot of Tiramisu flavored coffee. Good to the last slurp. LOL. ☺

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I could not live without coffee, nor would I want to! And nothing like grinding it fresh.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Can't stand those flavored coffees and I like mine over ice with cream and sugar.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Coffee flavored coffee for me!

I am playing Jo Stafford's Autumn Leaves right now. Seemed right.

I found a new favorite Archer Farms(Target) Cinnamon Vanilla Nut(or something to that effect)...YUM

Sand Springs (Tulsa), OK(Zone 7a)

DavEdsel.......funny you say that about stunting your growth. When my son was 4 he was diagnosed ADD, but the Dr. I used didn't believe in medicating kids unless it was a last resort. He told me to give him all the tea and coffee he wanted because the caffine worked the opposite on hyper kids. I asked him if it would stunt his growth and he said that was an old wives tale. Well, if it DID stunt his growth, I'm glad it did because he is 6' 7". lol

Wish I could get into the city tomorrow. Giant cranberry bog in the middle of Rocky Center!

Crit,

Our eldest son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was about 8. We used a herbal supplement called Pycnogenol which is pine bark extract, plus he had diet Pepsi every morning. Those things helped him focus and get good grades in school.

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

My wonderful wife and I like both flavored and regular coffee - as long as the regular coffee has a full flavor. Our favorites are a Hawaiian Coconut and a Raspberry Hazelnut from a local supermarket, and a Chocolate Raspberry from a local gourmet shop. That Cinnamon Vanilla Nut sounds very good, too.

Freshly ground 8 O'Clock coffee for me!

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

That is a very good brand, Victor. We have a little coffee grinder and I like to buy the beans and grind them myself sometimes. Makes a real difference in the flavor.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I used to buy 8 O'clock whole beans too then hubby got on a Dunkin Donut kick, now I usually buy New England Coffee
Jamacian Blue Mountain coffee is amazing too
Hubby will NOT drink anything flavored

My daughter must have had performance anxiety about being a flower girl cause she puked all over me while we were at the rehersal dinner, had to send hubby out with my niece to get us some clothes...NASTY

Thomaston, CT

Oh, good grief, Jen! Too much excitement for sure.....I don't drink coffee.....too acidic.....iced mocha lattes..decaf...is my fav.....

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Funny, the acidity doesn't bother me, yet I cannot drink soda, nor eat tomatoes, for the same reason. Weird.

One of the worst things I have seen recently. Truly sickening.

not looking

You are right victor. That is terrible.

When my son was diagnosed ADHD, the Dr. said to out all refined sugar (he could only have raw), anything with red food coloring, artificial sweeteners (as in diet pop) and anything with preservatives in it (like bread) 30 years ago there was not a natural food center on every corner. They were hard to find to get the raw sugar. I had to bake his bread and make his be own pitcher of tea with raw sugar. If he had any of the no-no's it took 3 days to get it out of his system. I had a terrible time with the school to not put anything he shouldn't have on his plate. They said they had to do it, he just didn't have to eat it. I told them how cruel it was to put cake or cookies or the like on his plate and him not be able to eat it. He was just a little boy. Finally got it through to them. As he grew older, he knew what he could and could not have, and the reason for it. He even didn't like himself when he had something and how he could not control his hyper-activity. He would politely explain to someone why he could not have certain foods.

When my son was little, I told him Santa was a story, he came home from kindergarten and told me "mom, Santa is real!"

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

I'm not looking either!

Thomaston, CT

That was an awful tragedy.....happened in Hartford with an elderly man, but a child!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Not surprised since that country has no respect for human life

Thomaston, CT

Hate any pests...killed a big spider in my kitchen this morning...UGH!

Thomaston, CT

Am not sipping tea or coffee, but hot mulled cider....yum!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Oh YUM!

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Enjoyed 'regular' coffee today - Country Blend from Dollar General. Very good. I had a little White Chocolate Mocha creamer in mine. Wonderful wife prefers hers black.

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Sipping green tea from a bag at work - lukewarm.

On the news it had a 5 year old charged with murdering his 2 year old sister. They asked if he should be charged as an adult.

This world is sick.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I see this one...

Same station, I heard Megan Kelly say 5 year old. I did not go in and watch it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

How about the crazy story in Ohio with all the wild animals released and the owner committing sewer pipes! Nuts.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - my new laptop just arrived. One week after ordering and more than one week earlier than they said.
