Just discovered ONE thread that's too wide for the page.

Hi all -
I just noticed something very odd. One thread I opened is too wide for the page and I need to scroll side-to-side to read it. The interesting thing is the thread before it...namely the old one that got so full it was transferred to this one...is just fine.

I haven't found any other threads that have this problem though it's possible there are some. All the other threads I go to are correct with no scrolling required.

I've included the link.

I'm curious if any of you see the same thing I do on this particular thread and if you've run into it with any other threads.

Any ideas why?

It happens the same way for me.

Edited to say with a big smile: My ESP tells me Melody will solve the problem!

I took out some of the exclamation points...how does it look now?

Thanks, Melody. Now it's fine.

Wow, thanks melody!! Note that I only used 2 exclamation points :)

You know, what's funny about that is I do some selling on eBay and sometimes to separate sections in my listings I'll use periods or asterisks, etc. I learned early on that if I typed in too many I would suddenly see a scroll bar at the bottom of the page and my whole listing would be off-balance. I guess that works the same way in DG Threads.

That's great to know, and thanks so much for pointing it out!!

A continuous row of anything throws the pages into a tailspin, if there are more of them than the page is wide. The system sees it as one word, so puts everything on the same line.

It is a common mistake and in our enthusiasm, we've pretty much all done it.

Glad that fixed it.
