Miscellaneous Shots 2011 - No. 5 'FALL COLORS'
nice celeste - only got one? :)
Very pretty, Celeste! I'd be in trouble there! I especially like the cyclamen you got. Its foliage is unique. I'd take one of each! LOL. I never see the unusual poinsettias. Sounds like a very fun trip. Nice photography too!
Oooh, such pretties!!! I would have a hard time deciding.
No, 2 Bill. ^_^
Thanks everyone, I did well to contain myself...considering I had $110.00 worth of gift certificates for that place, I did very well!! I'm saving them for a big blue spruce to put down beside the new house. ^_^
Celeste - have you looked into buying a *slightly used* log cabin http://www.oldlogcabins.com/cabins.htm? These have got to be less expensive than the lumber to buy new! Makes me want to move to the country and start a cat farm. No --- wait --I already have a cat farm! MOL! (that is meow out loud)
No, never seen that before, thanks for the link. :)
Love MOL!!
I'm glad I don't live near that greenhouse....I would be in serious trouble! Loved the Shimmer pointsettia...thought I'd go shopping today for my plants, but I don't know any place near here with that selection.....
Gosh, I really would love to own one of those reconstructed cabins, somewhere overlooking a wilderness view, built on stone piers, with a new stone fireplace. A wonderful idea. We still don't know what we'll do or where we'll go to retire, so thanks for the idea, Yank!
I'm sure there are many other companies that recycle buildings as well as log cabins. I think it ends up less expensive to recycle than build from scratch in the end.
Very pretty!!! Mom would always fill the house with poinsettias. I'll have to go this week. Sometimes we were successfulin keeping them for a couple of years. There are some beauties out there.
She would always get pecans for everyone, too. My one brother just wanted his cracked and not shelled. The rest of us were spoiled.
great tour Celeste.. nice picks RD!!!
Love your poinsettia choice Robin!
Thanks :>)
I picked up a few small poinsettias today in the traditional red and one white. Gave one to a DDIL and will take one when I visit my brother in PA.
Very pretty but I'm scared to have them here, between little ones and cats, I'm too nervous.
They're not poisonous......
I wouldn't have been able to choose, some BEAUTIFUL choices
They aren't poisonous!? I always thought they were. I'll be getting some then! Thanks : )
No, not harmful at all....study was done by Uconn......
Painful to watch!

Impressive film clip. I think Nigel Stanford is one of the few New Age composers my DD plays on the piano. His music isn't wierd.
