Miscellaneous Shots 2011 - No. 5 'FALL COLORS'
so pretty even though it's gloomy
Yes, the colors still caught my eye, even with no sunshine. I love the spots of deep green thrown in....Mother Nature has good taste. :)
:)
Very pretty!
really like #11 - are you teasing me about BSP? :)
Thanks Jen.
Bill, YES! LOL
Very nice pictures Pixie! All the shots are great! I really like the way the clouds look in #7. :)
Lovely scenery, Pixie....thanks for the trip! Love Maine this time of year, but won't be able to get up there.....
Oh, so pretty!!!!
Cute!
that is funny.
my brother is a auto mechanic - he would finish jobs that they say takes 6 hours in an 1 1/2. he gets paid the full 6. somehow i always felt the customer was getting ripped off.
Yeah, when you're experienced it will take you faster to do the job, he's just starting out, he just finished schooling.
They should only charge the customer the exact hours it took, but would you want it to work the other way too? If it was only supposed to take 2 but took 8?
if it was the other way around they place would be out of biz.
4.5 hours extra at $150/hr is a lot of $$
You should be told up front and that's what you pay - period.
they do tell you - just not what it really took to fix the problem.
No doubt about that. And your loose change is usually gone too!
Wow - check out the quality of this video from the new iPhone 4S!

I empty EVERYTHING from my car before bringing in to the shop
You're such a techie!
Check out the photos from the last wedding my friend photographed

Great quality on the videos......my service guys are great....they say it will cost $50, & be finished in an hour...and it is.....
getting paid flat rate stinks... but Victor sometimes problems arise once they get into something and tack on extra time too.. bolt rusted on and takes a while to get off.. whatever... things happen
Sure - as long as they ask you first. My guy always does.
Jen I love that cake! Very cute idea! :) The brides gown is stunning! My problem is my dh is an ex auto mechanic so I am not allowed to get my car fixed at a shop. Which you'd think was a good thing but I've been driving my car for a year with something making it vibrate every time I turn in a curve in thje road. If it doesn't disable me it gets put off! Yet if his buddy has a problem with a car he's out there looking at it and heading over to help out! Argh
Call in your problem to Click & Clack on NPR...love that show...airs here at 10:00 am on Sat. mornings.....
Isn't that the way, Meredith? I appreciate DH's DIY attitude, but sometimes things can take a LONG time.
Celeste - those fall photos are amazing! How is Josh doing after dealing with the sad news?
Beautiful wedding photos, Jen! The bride picked the perfect dress, and that cake is awesome!
