As nice as it has been the last 2 days, I know it's only Mother Nature playing with us because she can. Maine foliage is already at peak in some area's (http://www.maine.gov/doc/foliage/) so Justin & I took a drive today to have a look. This is a place I love called 'Small Falls', it's very picturesque and peaceful except on holiday weekends like this. :)
Miscellaneous Shots 2011 - No. 5 'FALL COLORS'
Mmmmm... I like it, too!!!
how cool you and Justin got to see that car!!.. love your shots!!
Yes, he loves cars and trucks so it was great! Thanks!!
Beautiful!
Thanks Victor! ^_^
Gorgeous shots, Celeste! Yesterday we had no color, but today it just popped! The maples are already done, but now the yellows and oranges are glowing. Sounds like you and Justin had some good, quality time today with beautiful scenery thrown in as a bonus. :)
Nice!
Noticed a little bit of color while travelling down rt295
Thanks Louise, he's a great co-pilot.... I can sing @ the top of my lungs and he never complains. ^_^
Only scattered color here so far.
Thanks Jen, half our state is 'colored'. :)
Very little color here...the maples are suffering from anthracnose, & just turning brown :>( Looks like you and Justin had a great road trip.....
nice tour celeste!
OMG! They are on top!!!! How did you handle that Bill?
they got there on there own - cindy has seen all 4 up top - they are use to us so we can get pretty close.
Nice!
Smart....they must love those grapes....
Cool shot, Bill!
Funny! Normally photos like that involve lots of alcohol. ^_^
I particularly like the pumps!!!
What a riot.....she was certainly tired!
Too cute!!
So cute, Jen!
So I took another trip, different area this time. It was a bitter sweet trip, part of me dreaded it and part of me looked forward to it. I'll explain....I dreaded the trip because I had to tell my son his friend had passed, not to mention it's a long ride by yourself. I looked forward to it because I knew the colors would be @ peak in that area and I was going up past Baxter State Park. As it turned out I never made it to B.S.P., met Brian and Josh in Millinocket as the Toyota was having problems. That cut an hour or better from my trip, but I got a few pictures anyways. Most of them I am driving and just clicking away randomly. LOL
So some we be at a slight tilt, actually most of them!
Lets start out with the sunrise, the sky was amazing.
