Lots of good stuff in that last one. I was quickly lurking as I had some work and other events keeping me away. I'll for sure have to go back and review it in detail.
I got a nice surprise a couple of weeks ago when this female American Redstart was flitting around in the trees outside the window.
DAILY BIRD PICS VOL #415
Aww the Redstart is adorable! Very nice shots Mrs Ed!
Thanks for starting the new thread!
Beautiful Mrs Ed!!! I am so jealous...wish I could have gotten the male I saw last week!!
Thank you Mrs. Ed for the new thread. The American Restart is adorable, and I'm a fan of Goldfinch as well. I saw a Goldfinch the same day I noticed the Mag. Warbler. They both were just passing by.
Great pictures Mrs. Ed. Love the American Redstart.
Great shots Elphy, how did you manage to have all of 'em lined up and turned to the left? "To the left, to the left" I can imagine hearing the lyric of that song. lol
Finch report… http://www.jeaniron.ca/2011/finchforecast.htms
Hi Mrs Ed. Your link says "Not Found".
Wonderful shots Elphaba!
Nice shots everyone!! Nice start to the new thread Mrs_Ed! Nice shots of your American Redstart!
Nice shots Elphaba!
Margaret, I see that view of the Cormorants during spring flying across the lake...nice shot!
Nice shot of your Peking's Lily!
Well I only have 2 shots to share but they are of my newest warbler...the Black-throated Gray Warbler. Warbler number 28 and number 206 overall.
I just happened to check the rarebird.org page and read the report's that they had spotted one at ONWR in the Magee Marsh area, so I made the trip out to see if I could get a shot.
Nice find Burd!
What a beauty Burd!! Congrats!!
These are all great pictures. I love the common grackle, what kind of equipment do you use? I would love to take pictures of birds right now I do all macro pictures, mostly insects.
Awww, what's a cutie! An escapee gp?
Well done, Burd. That's quite an achievement. Stunning bird.
Cute, GP. Are they an introduced species in your area?
I'm sure this was was an escaped pet. Never saw a Lovebird before.
Love that Warbler Burd! Congratulations!
Cute Lovebird GP!
Nice shot GP! Nice shot of the Red-tailed Dave!
Thanks all...more info on the Warbler, around 40 birder's were able to see the Black-throated Gray Warbler the last 2 days with about 10 photographer's including me.
Bird was last reported in Ohio back in 2005.

That one must've pulled a big crowd of birders!
BirdFiles is short on good pics of this . . . http://davesgarden.com/guides/birdfiles/go/693/ ;-)

Nice shots everyone!
Dave, LOVE that hawk. Great shots.
Burd, congrats on that fabulous bird. Beautiful shots of it too and warblers are so hard to get.
GP, I feel so sad for that lost little bird! Glad he found someone to talk to. I have a friend who rescues parrots. She always has the exotic birds in her yard. I think they hear her parrots and recognize it as a familiar sound.
Lily, tried to get the birds to line up stage-right this time, but they were not cooperating! I also asked them to hop in the sun, but no. I don't blame them it's oven hot out there. At least the nights have cooled down.
Baltimore Oriole.
