Sort posts and threads by clicking on column heading?

Albany, ME(Zone 4b)

Today I wanted to look at two posts I had made in the past year or two. When I went to My Info/My posts I had to scroll through all of them, looking for the possible forums. I wish I could have sorted by forum name by clicking on the column heading. When I went to a particular thread, then I wished I could have sorted by memeber name, looking for my own posts.

Sorting a table by clicking on its column headings is almost standard. Sorting is a standard programming thing. It shouldn't take too much trouble to add this feature. Could we have it?

Thanks,

That's a good suggestion. I agree it's *almost* standard (there are still a lot of large websites that have not adopted features like that.) And unfortunately DG is on an older, homegrown platform, which makes changes like that a bit more difficult but I will definitely recommend this to our tech team for a future upgrade.

In the meantime, you can limit your browsing of your threads to a particular forum, and you can really home in on a particular thread with the advanced forum search - you can narrow it down to a key word or phrase, you (or another user) who posted it, a particular time frame and a particular forum or group of forums.

Also when you're in a thread that you know you posted in, you can use your browser's "find on this page" feature to search for your username--that'll let you skip right to posts that you made.
