Anna, I have some Nepeta I need to dig up and move. I'll see if I can get some going for you.
Patrob, I have you down for kidneywood and virginia sweetspire. Thanks for the little bluestem!
Thanks for the nepeta Stephanie!
I want to make sure I am offering the right plant
Is this Ageratum?
Also, I don't know if you saw this on another thread, but in the Burleson RU, what I traded Mondarda Jacob Cline was really M. Raspberry. I do have one little plant that has been sitting all summer in a pot with red stems..could that be J. Cline?
Dennis I don't have any small cactus to spare but if you would like a cholla I have a couple.
C
What is the difference between the native rock rose and the brazilian rock rose?
Here is the info about both; http://www.austinbug.com/larvalbugbio/pavonias.html
Anna, I think that is what we are calling now Eastern Mistflower, Conoclinium coelestinum.
http://wildflower.org/plants/result.php?id_plant=COCO13
This plant used to be called "Ageratum" and "Eupatorium" so it is confusing when they change the scientific names.
I have several Zebrina Malva babies that I can offer.
Dennis, I have a 4' tall Ponytail Palm that I would be happy to give to you. My cats pestered it so much that I brought it to work a few years ago. But now it's too big for my workspace, doesn't get enough light, and I would love to find it a new home. It's a lovely, delicate, and very healthy plant. It's yours if you want it.
Anna, I have Bog Sage. I'll pot some up for you.
Carla
Thanks Josephine!
Thank you Carla for the bog sage and Stephanie for the nepeta!
What can I offer you? I noticed some henry Duelberg salvia wandering from the father plant that I can dig if you'd like.
Newtonsthirdlaw, I'm definitely interested in the cholla. Do you know how cold tolerant it is or how big it can get?
Loonie, the ponytail palm looks really cool. I am disappointed that I looked it up and it needs more sun that I have available for a large plant.
Anna, I have the bog sage we discussed at that other place.
Dennis, I have your gulf coast penstemons.
I don't have a trade list to offer. Plants suffered a lot this summer, and I'm also short on time. I will just try to keep up with people's want lists, and bring whatever I can.
I am also looking for catmint--lost all of mine this year, and I really miss them (and all the bees they bring). Just a little sprig will do, if anyone has it. Walker's Low is what I had before, but any kind would be great.
Dennis, the Ponytail Palm needs light but doesn't need direct sunlight. It gets no direct sunlight here at all, but does sit in a lighted area. If you have a place that has light, it should do just fine for you. Let me know if you want it. I have to find a home for it.
Carla
Pattie, I can try to root some catmint for you.
Carla, I can take the Ponytail Palm off your hands if you need to find a home for it. I'll try it at my house and if it doesn't work out because of light then I think I could find another home for it. Thanks!
PB, do you have an extra golf coast penstemon? I don't know that I have anything to trade though.
Dennis, the cholla survived outside last year and has for the last 4 years with absolutely no protection. Very hardy indeed! Mine is about 4 feet tall but a little spindly due to part shade. The one I have is a small piece that fell off and rooted on its own. I need to look to find out which species it is.

Sounds great! Do you have a picture of the mama plant?
Yikes, that looks just like the Cholla my friend fell into while in Big Bend last year!
Dennis, the PT Palm is yours.
Carla
Ok folks, don't laugh... I haven't much to offer this time.
I have:
*Tall Purple Ruella (A great backdrop)
*Obedient plant
*Blue Crown Passion-vine
1 Salvia farinacea (White mealy sage)
Cuttings of Sambac Jasmine (Maid of Orleans)
*These I am potting up and bring a couple to a few of each, and if anyone is interested I will bring extra to trade.
I want:
Pellitory
Skullcap
Snapdragon Vine
Carolian Phlox
Phloxy pilosa
Looking forward!

Thanks pbtxlady, newton, and loonie!
I have a lot of stuff to clear out, everyone. Don't be shy!
Yes, please ask for plants!!!!!!!!!
pbtxlady, I will take the bog sage if no one else wants, and it is easy to dig. I would like to give it to a friend.
C'mon folks! If these aren't taken now, you'll probably see them offered again in the spring! LOL
Patricia -- I'll take all the goat poo and cow poo you care to give me. :-)
Dennis -- I'll take your noid Coreposis.
I have red Canna bulbs. Free for the asking.
Carla
Well, I'm going to kind of cheat on this. I don't have a lot of plants/starts to spare right now, but seeing as this is going to be at my house bring your scissors and if something seems to be growing in abundance just ask if you can take a cutting. Oh, and if anyone wants prickly pear and NOID (but tough as nails -- survived this summer no water) Irises I have more than enough to go around.
Other Haves:
Pots, lots of pots, all sizes
Plant tags
Chicken poo
Rabbit poo
I need:
Comfrey (mine died :(
Bay Laural (having real trouble keeping one going since mine died last winter)
And, as always, I'm looking for various edibles.
This message was edited Sep 30, 2011 6:51 PM
Steph(tx), I just saw you have comfrey. Can I have, pretty please? :)
Err... and pink skull cap too, please.
This message was edited Sep 30, 2011 6:49 PM
Dennis, I'd like to try the service berry please.
Loonie1, I have you down for the coreopsis.
I just potted up a serviceberry sucker. It didn't have many roots, but I cut back the foliage and will try to baby it until the swap. Keep your fingers crossed!
Please sign up for something if you want it! No trades necessary! I am surprised that nobody has asked for the really nice evergreen sumac yet....
This message was edited Sep 30, 2011 9:37 PM
Dennis, may I have the evergreen sumac, please?
Josephine.
Kate, I'll put you down for comfrey and pink skullcap.
Ms Grubby, I'll take some rabbit and chicken poo, please. :-)
Carla
I have a Bur Oak seedling, if anyone wants it.
Carla
Dennis and/or Anna,
I know this is cheeky but... I noticed on another thread that you both have pineapple guava. Could I beg a cutting or two off of you to see if I can get them rooted?
Kate
