Those azaleas will be awesome in bloom.....really love Weston's azaleas!
Spending spree #8
Wow, Bill! What a nice haul! Can't wait to see photos of them in bloom next year! I'm thinking of adding some azeleas in the Spring. I will check out Weston's after two trusted endorsements! :)
Wonderful haul. Down the road I hope to plant some late azaleas, but I'm still stuck on planting early ones. I have to avoid Hopkinton, or I'll break my budget.
they have another location in chelmsford - 30% currently:)
Ohhh, very tempting. I forgot about the new store.
Received a small bulb order I placed with American Meadows....don't we usually plant bulbs later than this??
Triumph Tulip Bulbs Purple Passion Mix
Wild Crocus Bulbs Minimus
Dutch Crocus Bulbs Remembrance
Allium Bulbs True Blue ( I already had this one but needed more)
I just bought Purple Passion mix today! I'm planting them in a few minutes.....I like the allium, but it only lasted a year for me....
Marilyn, what is the Purple Passion Mix? Sounds pretty.
It's gorgeous I can't wait to see it in bloom this spring

OK, I caved and purchased Immortality iris (for the white sun garden) and Christmas fern, maidenhair fern, 2 orders of dicentra alba, white trillium and bloodroot from American Meadows to add to my new white shade garden. I had already bought (and finally planted)16 Candles clethra, black and white cohosh, doll's eyes cohosh, Fortune's cold hardy fern, Dale's strain heucherra, tiarella wherri, wintercreeper, several white hellebores including Mrs. Betty Ranicar, and hostas: Empress Wu, Striptease, Sagae, and the variegated blue mouse ears. At least the labor is free!
Cave, you DID!!! LOL
Thaks for the link, Jen. Very pretty indeed! Wish I had time to receive them here! Very tempting!
Yes, I couldn't resist, Louise! Rosemary, those plants sound awesome.....Immortality iris has been blooming in front of our library for the past month....I need it!
They were on sale at American Meadows, which I got to from Jen's link.
Somehow I missed Jen's link earier. I will have to admire her and Marilyn's photos next spring. We were at HD today, and they had some really nice iris tubers there, but I made myself be strong. I've got my hands full between now and when we leave.
With any luck, the iris will multiply in our gardens, and then there'll be some for Robin and others at an RU.
Home depot irises (rhizomes) are not always labeled correctly. Wait in get them from iris nurseries. Superstition catalog (next spring) has a $3.00 section of tall beardeds.
I bought these but not for me. DD#3 has 1 Hosta......thats it. Nothing else, nadda! (Is this really my child?) So to get her started I bought these, plus i'll be digging up some of my own plants.
Mixed Daffs Bag
Mixed Tulips Bag
DUTCH IRIS MIX (blues)
HYACINTH FIRELIGHTS
HYACINTH DELFT BLUE
SPECIE CROCUS MIX
Lily 'Casa Blanca'
Lily 'Altari'
Lily 'Cobra'
AWWW, that's so sweet. When they all bloom, she'll be thrilled!
I feel like such a flower failure - no planting of anything new- BooHoo! We've been concentrating on the kitchen.
$3!!! what a steal!
Jan once you get the inside done you'll be back to the garden, no doubt!
Very nice Celeste, some people just need the help ☺

It must be a generational thing! Our little Tallaby has mischievous eyes too.
Two little beauties,Celeste!
recieved an order of peony today from Fina Gardens - never ordered from them before only place i could find "clown" which my wife liked - the largest peony i have ever received! have some coming from Hollingsworth will be interested to see how they match up.
2 cuties!
Bill - what color is Clown? Also, do you cut down your purple phlox after they bloom?
hi louise - clown is a bright pink with a yellow center, really stands out - just google fina gardens - i cut down the phlox during fall clean up.
Thanks, Bill! Clown does sound really pretty. Too late for me to get anything this year, but I will add it to my wish list. I will still check out Fina Gardens.
Just received my Texas Tomato Cages. They are huge and the wire is really fat! Now to find somewhere in my garage to put them. . .
Hang them from the ceiling
Good idea!
